Fort Hartsuff is an amazing place. I remember visiting there  before the buildings had been repaired and rebuilt.  I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the fort on vacations to Nebraska. Not only is it a piece of American history but a piece of my family's history as well. My great grandpa Clement helped to build the fort and some of his tools are on display.

We've been here several times.   Always neat to see historic places. Everything is well maintained.

A bit off the beaten path but well kept, lots of interesting exhibits. If you're interested in history put this place on your list.

An interesting Fort much as it was in the 1870's.  Good picture of life of soldiers on an Outpost that kept settlers safe.
