First & foremost, just to be clear, I come from a complete family of service men and women. From dispatchers, police officers to vets, active soldiers and US marshals. I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR MEN/WOMEN IN UNIFORM & I AM WHOLE HEARTEDLY THANKFUL FOR THEIR SERVICE. On the other hand, I am absolutely disgusted with the rotten behavior a lady (never stated her name) Fort Lauderdale Dispatch displayed tonight. I had a problem w/ neighbor who has small children. The situation was getting out of control. I came inside to call the police department and the rude lady on the other line had such an attitude I can't even begin to explain. As soon as she picked up the phone, I said hello how are you? She snapped asking what i was calling for. Once I started explainging, she constantly kept intrupting me & would snap at me for answering! She literally hung up on me!! I know some calls they get are ridiculous & the callers are worse. However, the reasoning for my call was very legitiment and I was extremely respectful to her. I would not waste the Police's time for non sense. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY OUR COUNTRY'S CIVILIANS DO NOT TRUST/CALL/FEEL SAFE AROUND COPS! If that dishonarable dispatcher was that vulgar with myself & my situation, how is she to be trusted with a life or death call. This is no exaggeration, I am not a hostile caller who didn't get their way. If you are reading this & you happen to be the dispatcher that hung up on me so aggresively rude, you have no business working in this line of duty. For your superiors, you outta be ashamed of yourselves for employing someone who is clearly a HUGE liability. Given these points, it's safe to say I am flabbergasted. There are bad things going on in this building that all of you are turning a blind eye too. You are out here EVERY SINGLE DAY on a new call here. Yet nothing is being done. Children neglected, over doses, domestic abuse and unfortunately so much more. Yet I have never seen hand cuffs or any type of punishment. Shame on you. All of you at Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

Go search the news for this place. Beating people who testify against their officers. That’s terrible. Talk about ruining trust in your community.

Ordering 8-12 year olds innocently riding bikes to hit the ground at gun point and to empty there pockets for contraband is not cool....Great Image for your Poilce Dept😉

We could not be more Excited about our police department in Fort Lauderdale. They are excellent at what they do. We respect them and pray for them all the time. GOOD JOB. edmund desoto
