The pool at the Stars Complex is a hidden jewel and deserves far more praise and attention than it gets today. Based in the heart of Ft. Myers, the Stars Complex pool is an 8 lane, Junior Olympic pool with starting blocks. Currently home of the Swim Energy swim team run by Coach Verwest and his wife Laura. The pool is the perfect location for children and adults to learn to swim for adults to take advantage of weight loss classes and to join the swim team. We understand that in the next 12 months Swim Energy will be developing new programs for children and adults to make it easy to learn to swim, have pool parties and events to enjoy the the Florida weather. In addition to the pool there lots of programs for kids including after-school, mentoring and academic excellence programs. The community is very lucky to have such a spectacular facility and i expect to see more events and swim meets in the near future.

This is the review for Swim Energy the swim team at the Stars Complex. When I started swimming at swim energy I noticed alot of things for example I needed work on my technique my focus level with school was not at its best and how nice everyone is there. When I started doing this program changed everything for me my technique became more important to me. I started to focus alot more in school and swim better and faster.

This review is for the STARS Complex Swimming Pool Facility and the Swim Energy Aquatics Swim Team. Here in the historic community complex is a wealth of much needed community cultural development programs in operation, but I want to use this review to focus on the STARS Complex swimming program. There are programs proposed for adult and youth aerobic exercise classes, pre-competitive, beginning and advanced competitive swimming. After 1 year of active participation as a parent (both my 13 and 15 year old daughters are competitive swimmers) I still feel that Swim Energy Aquatics (ENRG) is an excellent swim team! I like how serious both coaches are about swimming techniques, mental attitude and more importantly, my daughters enjoy swimming with the team. My daughters have been swimming competitively for over 5 years; however, if you find a good coach, you'd be very happy. I noticed that many teams do not have at pre-competitive level a program that develops endurance and technique. ENRG does. It means that the good technique you have, it will not break down after 10 yards of swimming. Originally, I just wanted to develop my young girls’ coordination and endurance. Now, I think technique, mental development, sportsmanship and endurance have to be balanced and included in the program. There is much more than just swimming needed in the development of young people into adults, especially these days and times. Sign up and become part of an excellent comprehensive program!!
