. Lost luggage! 2.. Over one and a have hour wait to talk to someone! 3.. The subject working there lied to me no less than three times! 4..the subject yelled after someone at another counter ask for his luggage! 5.. The subject yelled at someone on the radio no less than two times! All the customers that I witnessed used appropriate  behavior.

Worthless airport, got delayed for over 2 because there was not enough crew to de-ice the plane. Do yourself a favor, drive 2 hours north and leave out of DTW, you wont miss your connections that way.

Born & raised in the Fort Wayne area and lived here until 2006. Seen this airport go through a lot of changes. Overall for me, it's convenient and the staff are friendly & helpful. A less hectic experience than the big airports (Detroit, Chicago, Cincy). At times a little slow at baggage claim, but since I typically carry on it's not a problem for me. Always a nice welcome when coming back to the Fort.

We are saddened with our experience each and every time at Fort Wayne International Airport.  Our departing flights are always delayed, and we end up with major problems connecting via other airports due to the delays.  We now make the drive to Indianapolis to fly because of the constant lack of consistency and bad management.  We highly recommend, if you do decide to fly in and out of Fort Wayne, to make sure your layover times at other airports are at least 2 hours.  We don't like to be negative, but our experience at Fort Wayne is always negative and frustrating. For example, we just dropped my mother off at the airport back to California, and she called 30 minutes later to inform us of her delay, which will cause her to miss her flight in Chicago...its clear skies, warm weather, and absolutely no reason for a delay.  Frustrating.
