We made the mistake of not checking out by 11 during a hurricane that was coming in that evening. The campsite told us there was no state of emergency when in fact there was. When we went to check out we were told that unfortunately they could not credit us that night but they could give us a credit for our last and final night of our stay. We received the WORST attitude from a receptionist named Sharon who kept on talking down to us even when we were asking simple questions with regards to the credit and we didn't understand why. When we finally left my brother in law stayed behind because he was browsing a brochure in the lobby. The receptionist did not know he was with us. He overheard them talking about our situation when she was heard saying "I can't stand Spanish people" and a couple of words I cannot mention. Now, we were wrong to not check out by 11am I get it, businesses have rules and policies, I own 2 businesses myself, but race had nothing to do with it and it explained the down talking and the attitude. This may not matter to anyone else reading this review but it mattered to my family and I. In the end FW, I thank you for your one day credit but we decided as a family that we would rather not come back to your campsite and proceed with our dignity and support a business that respects all people. I rented a Park Model Cabin on very short notice. (during the week)..the weekends were already booked ..so my advice would be to plan ahead. .I came here to fish the Wicomico River in Salisbury and the campground is only about 15 miles away.  I stayed 2 nights and I loved it. Very Clean, Very Nice...the  campground staff on the phone and at the campground were very friendly and pleasant to talk too. The Country Store breakfast was very good... and not expensive. The Park Model Cabin was LIKE NEW. The screened porch was awesome for evening relaxing.... only a Few suggestions if you go.. Bring your own linens and a comfortable sleeping pillow..I will definately return here when i visit this area again. Once again.. I loved it... 3x better then a motel for me.

I'm giving this camp ground 5 stars for ; the friendly staff, Cleanliness, accommodations, activies, etc. On the other hand I'd give them 10 stars for the way the handled a problem we ran into on our stay! Brandon, whom I believe is the manager was very professional, caring and understanding. Between him and his staff they went above and beyond to make us comfortable, satisfied and made our stay very pleasant. He handled our minor issue fast and was very attentive! We will be back each year, maybe twice! You have gained a customer for life ❤ Thank you

Great laid back atmosphere for all. Unwind from social pressure and just relax with plenty of ways to have fun. Water park associated with the campground is nice. Very enjoyable place to be.

Other than having ants in our cabin, it was wonderful! Great view, peaceful, and relaxing! But be wary! No sheets or pillow cases or blankets! Bring your own!
