Myself and my family have being using Dr. Almquist  for several years, but its time to find a different dentist.
He is gentle, and a nice guy, yes, but every time he puts a filling in, or a crown, I have to have it redone 2 or 3 times within the following week or so.
This is very inconvenient as it involves taking time off work, or use my vacation time if possible.
However, this time is the last time. The Dr. put in a filling, a piece broke off the next day.
He fixed, that, and then 2 days later the filling fell out. 
They told me they would have to charge me for a new filling, and that was the last straw.
There are lots of dentists in San Antonio, and bad news travels a lot faster than good news........

By far the best dentist I have ever been too. Not only are they honest and fast but friendly too! I have had bad experiences at dentists but now they have changed my outlook. I actually left a dental cleaning without any pain and a smile on my face.

I give this dentist 5 stars for being great. I had a horrible tooth ache for a month and I called woth my concerns got seen within the hour, being that I had been to 2 other dentist before him he was the only one that took the inicitave to get me out of pain. After doing a occlusal adjustment on a few of my teeth I noticed a huge difference. The pain is still around here and there but Def getting better. I Will be going to him from now on. By far the best most honest dentist I've ever seen. Everyone in the office was great. Def reccomend to everyone. Thanks guys!

My second review of Dr. Almquist.  Due to a unfortunate conflict of schedules that could not be adjusted Dr. Almqusit was unable to see me to fix a tooth three days ago.  I had to visit another dentist for a temporary fix to tooth.  Today Dr. Almquist completely repaired my tooth.  Because he could not fix my tooth the same day he did NOT CHARGE me for the repair.  Wow!  He treats his patients with respect, care and consideration.

Dr. Almquist  does top notch dental work and goes "above & beyond" to be a fair business man.  Two reasons why he has been my dentist for over a decade.

This is the best dentist I have ever had. He is patient, caring and takes his time. First of all I never have to wait. I get there and I am seen right away. Its refreshing to find a dentist who doesn't take his patients time for granted. Second, when I am seen, it is always by friendly faces and the dentist takes his time, explains what he is doing. I have had dentists before him in other states and this is the best dentist I have ever had period. I highly recommend him!
