Story

Located in the lively, new King of Prussia Town Center, Founding Farmers KOP is a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on weekends.

As a farmer-owned restaurant, almost all of our delicious food and drink – from our freshly baked bread and house-churned butter to our craft cocktails with our proprietary spirits – is made from scratch, using high-quality ingredients from American family farms. Our First Bake Cafe & Creamery located just downstairs serves light fare, coffees and scratch sodas, fresh baked breads, donuts and pies, and our famous house-churned ice cream, all available to go or for enjoyment at our counter or one of our cafe tables. We are excited to be making our way to Pennsylvania and hope our guests enjoy all that is Founding Farmers.

I just wanted to express my appreciation from our experience on Apr 22.   It was an early evening on Sunday.  My female friend and I visited your place.  Our table attendant was very sweet and helpful.  Our food took a little longer than expected - about 45 minutes from the order.  We did not complain but the manager visited our table and expressed his apology and he offered that he will take care of the entire bill for us.  You guys did not have to do that because we were  not in hurry at all, but we really appreciated because it made us feel that you cared about us and we felt we were treated as important customers even though we did not order that much food to begin with.  Thank you very much for such a wonderful customer care.  I will definitely be back for many more lunches and dinners.

Got there at 11:30am for an early lunch. Sat at the bar. Fried green tomatoes came really quick but waited 45 minutes for the rest of the meal. There were others that arrived 20 minutes later that received their meal first. Fried green tomatoes were freshly made but lacked taste. The juicy Lucy burger was very small compared to the bun. Bun was at least 40% larger than the burger. Was not much cheese so not very juicy either. Side salad was mostly olives - I guess I got the bottom of the bowl. No one asked how the food came out. No one asked to refill my drink. My credit card laid with the receipt for at least 10 minutes with no action. Tried twice to get the bartenders attention to run the card but she walked away. Finally I put cash with receipt and walked out late for my next appointment. Don't think I will come back. Wegmans has better food and better service at a better price!

Every time I've been (3 times now) my experience has been even better than before. Everything I've eaten at Founding Farmers has honestly been amazing. I went for lunch and had the spinach bacon blue salad and the ravioli Bolognese and both were excellent. My mom and I were so impressed that we joked we were going to come back for dinner. We didn't come back that night, but we did return two days later for breakfast. I got the goat cheese and beet hash which both looked and tasted beautiful! I also love that they serve their tea in an engraved tea pot with classic China teacups and saucers - it just makes the experience that much more special. Finally, a few weeks later my husband and I returned for dessert - I got the cheesecake with strawberry chocolate topping and he got the banana split. Um, wow. The cheesecake was so much lighter (both in flavor and in density) than any other one I've had before. It did not disappoint, but do be warned that it is HUGE. My husband's banana split was beautifully presented in a deconstructed style - he had a kind of ceramic lunch tray/plate with three spots for ice cream scoops (all of which were delicious) and then a large spot for the banana which was drizzled with caramel and topped with chopped nuts. Very, very pretty, and very, very tasty. We can't wait to return!

No complaints. Yummy food, decent presentation, tons of food and drink options, and formal wait staff. The environment is upscale casual. Private rooms are available and there are multiple dining areas adequate for hosting larger parties. I recommend getting a reservation if you want to eat during the evening or you could end up with an hour long wait time.

The food is always very good, but every time we come here they are packed to the gills with people, so the staff is always very busy. They do a good job but be prepared to be patient! The only food I had that I did not like was the mushroom pasta. It was so sweet it was like eating dessert pasta, would not recommend!
