I would like to thank the Fox Lake Police Department for everything they did to assist my family.  Everyone we came in contact with was informative, thoughtful, and performed their due diligence.  What was a nightmare could have been a lot worse if they were not the professionals they were.  Thank you very much for everything.  I pray for the safety and good fortune for each of you and your families.

I live in Foxlake been living here over a decade and I have noticed that when I tell people that I live in Foxlake for some reason that bad cop that took his life comes up to conversation 😡 I want to tell everyone that this bad cop that took his life is only 1% of the force 99% of the Foxlake police department is good , humble and professional I have never been stereotype and never the less pulled over and of course you break the law speeding and doing something you should not be doing I guarantee you Foxlake police will treat you with respect and do there jobs the times that I have encountered Foxlake police department I’ve experienced nothing but professionalism I want to tell people that are not from here Foxlake is a beautiful community where our fire and police department do  there jobs very well don’t judge us on one person mistake to those people that have a bad assumption of our police department you’re wrong if you’re a good law abiding people you never have to worry about being stereotyped in Foxlake and I can sincerely say that people only want to talk about the bad but never talk about the good our police department is a law abiding department please don’t judge our department on one person Foxlake police department I sincerely appreciate everything you do and thank you for making us feel safe👍🏾

My garage door was left open accidentally on two occasions and police were outside my home with dispatch calling me to alert me they were outside making sure all is well and they would stay there until I came out to let them know we are ok and I've closed my door!  That is really nice of them!

Do not move to Fox Lake because the police are very bad they murder their own police officer Joe and they got away with it and they like to pull people over and give them bogus tickets and they like to harass citizens

Every interaction I've had with the FLPD has been great. I worked at a gas station overnight for 6 months and since they knew I was alone, they check in on me every couple hours. I now work for another business here in FL and they have been helpful when we've needed them.
