I have experienced many shows in this fine old theatre over the last ten years. All where live music and all where fine experiences from a venue perspective. The staff are always professional and friendly more often than not. They have full bar service at this venue, but I have never felt that there were to many "drunk & obnoxious" folks around me. They probably stay over in the side bar! The atmosphere here can often be amazing and diverse. The Tegan and Sarah concert I experienced here was one of the best ever for me and I went with a friend who is a huge fan my appreciation for these great ladies grew dramatically after watching them live and feeling the fantastic energy of their audience. All the shows I have experienced here have been well produced. My last show was Generation Axe and my friends and I had good fun, the audience was quite entertaining and telling of the music ;-) So if love classically designed "old theaters", the ability to side up on a balcony, or dance around on the main floor while enjoying a cocktail, this is place for you. The acoustics are good and most of the acts have sound folks who utilize them well.

Acoustics weren't great, but the layout was a nice mix of open floor for general admission and balcony seats for those that want a seat. Really creative design went into decorations and ceiling art. I saw maybe thirty people take photos of a statue framing the side of the stage.

Beautiful old theatre returned to it's former glory. Staff is wonderful. Get here early if you want to see the opening bands.

Very accommodating for my disabled, elderly mom. ALL the employees were helpful and super nice. Fabulous experience seeing Seu Jorge!

This is a destination and a great venue for concerts, comedians and other shows. It's small enough that it feels intimate. The architecture and decor is a throwback to a time when the performing arts and live theater was central to entertainment. The stage and add to the events rather than detract from them. They have a great bar down stairs and the ushers are really friendly. There are a number of hot dining spots in walking distance so it's easy for dinner and a show!
