FoxHound Coffee (Nevada City, CA) Customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 Friendly laid back and well rounded baristas. SPEED⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Drinks we're out in 3min or less. Seating⭐️⭐️⭐️⚡️ 3.5/5 Decent seating in both the front and back balcony area, nice old-school, vintage punk, layed back feel. However, there is no AC and can get very uncomfortable during the hot summer days. Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5 Espresso (Brazil, Ethiopia, Uganda Blend): Darker roast, Baker's chocolate, grape fruit citrus, heavy syrupy body, subtle bitter sweet chocolate linger, slightly over developed. No single Origin Option for espresso 😞 Cappuccino(traditional) espresso blend works very well with milk, dark chocolate, creamy and well balanced) Ice mocha: Chocolaty, creamy, the TCHO chocolate that is used, is a bit chunky, but works to the advantage of the drink. The small chocolate bits add a nice, chocolate chip shake like texture (remember to stir constantly or the chocolate tends to settle). French press (Brazil): full body, chocolate, caramel, molasses sweetness. Presentation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⚡️3.5/5 Not the greatest latte art I've encountered, the microfoam was allot thicker than expected, but the hand made cups bring it all together. The barista I encountered seemed to be quite passionate about his job, so no doubt his latte art skills will improve quickly. OVER ALL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⚡️4.3/5 FoxHound coffee is more traditional in it's approach to roasting with most of their coffee being a medium or darker roast. If you enjoy a more traditional, Chocolaty/Caramel and heavy bodied, coffee I highly recommend you check them out. FoxHound coffee has a chill atmosphere and is great for enjoying a cup with friends. Best coffee in town! In fact the second best coffee I've ever had. The best coffee I've ever had is in Melbourne.
