In fairness there are probably numerous reasons to visit New York City. This has to be one of them. Our two previous visits in 2012 and 2015 included eating here. Delighted to say that during our latest visit between 2nd and 9th July we were able to eat for a third time. Fantastic choice of pizza slices Two are big enough alongside dough knots are superb and well worth waiting for. Although I hope we do not have to wait another eight years to eat here again. Pity they can not deliver to the UK. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options
I took a small group of my daughters friends here for lunch while in the neighborhood visiting the Museum if Natural History. We ordered a Margherita pizza and some drinks. The pizza was fantastic but the staff is downright rude. One of the workers mistook me for another Asian mom and was yelling at me to pick up two slices that were ready. Then the same guy got upset because I ordered the pizza to go but then sat at the tables with the girls…when we got there the dining area was packed and there was no seating, but then tables opened up. Not really a big deal…seems as though the staff cannot handle the stressful lunch crowd. The cashier too got impatient when we were selecting drinks. Definitely will not be returning.

Strictly a pizza review... Crust is a bit thick. Sauce is relatively bland, cheese is decent but not outstanding. Great variety of pies available, but not a place for a pizza purist.Food: 3/5
The pizza is amazing! Perfect combination of crispiness and amount of sauce. Fast service, too. They DON'T take contactless tapping credit cards, which includes Google/Apple Pay. They only accept credit cards with swiping, I think. And cash, of course.
A Great Cut Of Pizza Close To Central Park ! Pizza Foodies need to flock here! We ate a lot of pizza on the NYC trip and Francesco's hands down is the unrivaled Master for taste, texture, crust, options and price! Considering it's location and what the prices could be, and what they really are, it just can't be beat. I would have paid more because it was just yummy. Definitely the NYC pizza we had been seeking all week and found it on the last day. We also had the nicest server, she was kind, and explained everything, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time, and just that was more than awesome as some of our dining experiences were not even close to that in 'fine dining' experiences that week! Thank you, and sorry I can't remember her name! Just a note: I would NEVER order a full pizza with all the possible glass case options to heat and eat. Try a many rather than just one pie! The ONLY regret I have is that I didn't get a dough knot but I was so full! 1 Weird thing: I won't delete stars but, the bathroom had a sign on it, "out of order' I just wanted to wash my hands after 2 hours of walking and subway riding. I went to walk away, and the one employee told me I could use it. ODD that it was out of order but it was usable? Maybe it is some NYC thing to make those walking in not use their toilet? IDK? But the pizza exceeded my expectations especially at the price point. A foodie pizza find in NYC, away from all the normal chaos and so good I'd go again and again! Worth the cab, or subway ride no matter where you are!
Popped in for some pizza in the afternoon. had 2 slices - cheese, and sausage. Good crispy crust, not super thin so got a nice bite that was slightly doughy, slightly chewy, and nicely crispy. Would come back again.Food: 4/5
Went there when it was slow and the selection of slices was still pretty limited. Not great.Food: 3/5
Came in today as a family of five. The atmosphere was great, friendly, busy, good mood in the place. Sat down and server came to take our order. Was very good and answered my questions and patiently took our order. Not only was the service great, but the food was amazing. Our bill was $55 and fed all five of us. Had the pizza, rice balls, Greek salad and garlic knots. Even the sauce on the side was very good. Definitely adding to my favourites for next time!
Absolutely the most spinach I have seen on a single slice of pizza ever thus far .. You definitely get your daily allowance of veggies required 4 sure . Large variety. Staff was cool . Pizza was pretty good but I have had MANY PIZZA B4 . Price point was on point 4 location
