I used to go to Frankies in Port Canaveral years ago and it was good. I had not been there since. My wife and I went to the little one in Cocoa Beach tonight and I will not be back.  The wings were over-cooked and on the small side. I could hardly taste the wings for the sauce and the order took too long to be served. There were no complimentary celery sticks offered as there used to be, and it was too expensive for what we got, but at least the beer was cold and the help was friendly.

Frankie's is a great little mom and pop place with a nice selection of wings and sandwiches. I was a little disappointed to see they swapped out the complimentary carrot and celery sticks for the home style chips, and that they don't have the tuna melt sandwich anymore, but the turkey club is good and the "chicken coop" is always a favorite. Would recommend carryout over dine-in as the service can be a little slow.

I am not exaggerating when saying that Frankie's is the GOLD STANDARD for authentic Buffalo-style chicken wings in the entire country. I am a wing fanatic, I have been eating wings in many places, from hole-in-the-wall to "famous" to the national chains etc., but no one beats Frankie's...it's just a fact. I've been getting my fix at Frankie's since they were in Port Canaveral in the late 90s/early 00s and stuck with them no matter where they moved. If you are anywhere near Cocoa Beach, heck...anywhere near Florida...Frankie's wings are worth your trip, I promise!
