The Franklin Police Department is located in Southwestern Milwaukee County. We patrol approximately 36 square miles, serving over 35,500 citizens.
Money Magazine, a national financial magazine, ranked Franklin, Wisconsin, among the top 100 cities to live, ranking 94th. "We looked at small towns, populations under 50,000 trying to find hidden gems people might now know about, and we wanted things important to the typical American family: not too expensive, good schools, low crime, good health care, and fiscal stability," said Beth Fenner of Money Magazine.
The Mission of the Franklin Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City of Franklin by providing the highest quality of service to our citizens. We are committed to working cooperatively with the public and other agencies to preserve peace, protect life and property, reduce crime, and provide needed services to our community.
