The Franklin Police Department is located in Southwestern Milwaukee County. We patrol approximately 36 square miles, serving over 35,500 citizens.
Money Magazine, a national financial magazine, ranked Franklin, Wisconsin, among the top 100 cities to live, ranking 94th. "We looked at small towns, populations under 50,000 trying to find hidden gems people might now know about, and we wanted things important to the typical American family: not too expensive, good schools, low crime, good health care, and fiscal stability," said Beth Fenner of Money Magazine.

The Mission of the Franklin Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City of Franklin by providing the highest quality of service to our citizens. We are committed to working cooperatively with the public and other agencies to preserve peace, protect life and property, reduce crime, and provide needed services to our community.

Reviews
Called twice and requested a police report for an accident and over a month later have not heard a thing and they were given 2 phone numbers they could call. I have a feeling our requests were just completely disregarded. On top of that the vehicle info (make, model, vin, color, body style) is incorrect!

If they take your property, even without an arrest, they make the recovery process so painful that I think they simply want to keep it or sell it at auction. Ridiculous!

I got pulled over for speeding by officer Terry Dams, I had a bit of an attitude and he rightfully was pretty angry. After checking my D.L. came back and said he was sorry, he was having a bad day as well, and talked to my son and me and sent me on my way. I already knew, attitude is everything! I had forgotten that a little bit, but Officer Dams was a class act. Officers are people to, remember the golden rule and realize they are people too and are just doing a job. Getting a ticket sucks, but we need to respect them never the less for doing a tough job!

police here are crooked and bullies.they will take reports and rearrange them the way they see fit.if you try to get information for a case they will work the information to be not in your favor if they don't like you.i was harassed by a neighbor for years and called the police countless times.then when something happened they worked the information and deleted much of my conversation with them to make it look like the neighbor was completely innocent.they will not give you a fair shake.the national consensus is right about the police,they do whatever they want.

Rude , power hungry dorks that can't keep busy because anything worse than someone J walking doesn't happen in franklin . Will steal your belongings if booked check very closely .
