The hosts Rick and Mary Lou are very nice people. We didn't get to meet them in person, only on securing our reservations. We made 2 reservations for a week each. On the way to the campground we were involved in an accident that totaled our tow vehicle and camper. My husband called and requested a refund. The owner "Bob" was very rude and would not refund anything. That is his policy. He said "Get your insurance company to refund it to you." There is one thing for sure, we will NEVER stay at the. Amp ground.

Beautiful campground. Hosts incredibly friendly. Facility not very big but has wonderful Greenpeace. Pavilion is gorgeous. Very welcoming. Public facilities are immaculate.

Extremely disappointed in our experience with Franklin RV Park & Campground. We found this campground online, checked the website and called to make a reservation. I made a reservation 2.5 months in advance and told the person on the phone that we did not have an RV, we would be tent camping. All they said was 'you will still have to pay the same rate', which we said ok to, no big deal. They charged our card a $25 deposit. The day of our stay there, we were going through our confirmation documentation to get the address and noted the brochure they sent us had NO TENTS hand-written on it. I called to clarify. They told us that we could not tent camp. I went back and forth with the employee and ultimately had to cancel. I requested a refund and they stated that regardless we cancelled so they would not refund us. I understand that this may be your policy, but that doesn't mean your company/employees are never at fault. They were in this case and we should be given a refund of our deposit. This company needs to make it known clearly that they don't allow tents, like putting it on the website.

Immaculately maintained and picturesque, showers included. There's even a gorgeous outdoor living room with stone fireplace. Rick, the resident manager, was friendly and incredibly helpful. Great place. I would rate it higher than 5 stars if it were possible.

Awesome!! Super clean grounds & immaculate bathhouse. Friendly & informative campground host. We will definitely stay here again.
