We arrived at Mountain Falls over Memorial Day weekend 2016, stayed a week, had a wonderful time and returned to our home in the FL Keys. We loved our time at MF so much that we booked a return stay for a few weeks in July/August to really see if it was just a fluke of a great time or it was the norm at Mountain Falls. Our three week reservation turned into 5 months.... Mountain Falls is the BEST Class A Resort in the country. M and G Hopkins

To the Staff and Owners at Mountain Falls , As the Luxury Motorcoach Resort that we love staying at , I'm sorry to say we will never return again do to Ur HEARTLESS Reservation Manager JO' Ellen who has no compassion and R the managing skills to B in her position . She was very rude to my wife and myself . She lied to me over the phone , Putting words in my wife's mouth when my wife was sitting right next to me and never uttered the word;s she was telling me my wife had said to her . We were MANDATORY EVACUATION in Juno Beach Fla. From Hurricane Irma . We did book a reservation at the resort with all good intentions of staying . We did tell the reservation personal that we were traveling out of Florida and not sure how the road's / Traffic would B . Well it turned out that the traffic was slow moving to standing still that it took us 22 hour's just to get to Augusta Georgia . This was a 2 day event with us keeping in contact with the resort to Letting them know R position . Not to travel at night . When we finally landed in Augusta Georgia , We were stressed out and wore out from the whole ordeal . This was not a scheduled or planned vacation . It was a mandatory evacuation from the Hurricane Irma . She told us that she is still charging R Credit Card $500.00 for the NO SHOW Reservation . I objected to her reasoning R there of reasoning and compassion to a sister state that they could of been a little more reasonable in stead of 1 minded . She also stated if I died there wouldn't B any refund and that many of Florida people made reservations that also didn't show and they weren't getting a refund on a charge card that we never used the resort .We couldn't get there . I'm copying this and putting on the review because I already no this will end up in the reservations lap and B deleted . I'm canceling my Credit Card Charges and I'm giving this information to Governor Rick Scott's office who told all Floridian people that end up getting railroaded / over charged . U have the power to delete this , But U don't have the power to erase it from my file . Proving it was sent out . Again , I'm sorry that this is the way U do business in time's like this. Respectfully Gary Lincul .

Beautiful location, unfortunately limited to Class A coaches only. Very kind and understanding staff refunded my reservation when I did not realize the Class A requirement. Hope to be able to visit in the future!

This place is on the top of a mountain so the road in is windy and treacherous. Our 41 foot rv which is brand new was scary to navigate on the roads. They resort warns you about not taking certain highways to get there but doesn't tell you that the last 8 miles will age you 10 years. Then to add insult to injury , they are blasting to make a straighter road. Oh good. That doesn't help those who are trying to get there now. Had we known, we would not have gone. Yes, the views from the ridge are lovely, IF you can get spot there and if there's no fog. But there's often a lot. Then, hurricane Nate blew through . That was no ones fault but sure didn't help. The sites are level and landscaped. Many have stone fireplaces but renters are NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEM. They don't tell you that. They just show you pretty pictures. So we hauled out our portable grill after paying a premium to be here. There was nothing going on in the clubhouse when we were there, and the natives were less than friendly. Didn't feel like camping. Felt more like a mobile home park where we were the wrong religion or something. Part of it is that many who bought there have little cottages they use next to their sites, so they are a pretty close knit group. And there was no friendly welcome. All the lady at the desk would say was " Well, you are paid in full. " Four times. No welcome, no thanks for coming , no enjoy your visit. There are no services or restaurants or anything within a half hour. The town of Brevard does have some but mind you, that's a half hour down the mountain again. I would never stay here again and I don't recommend the drive. The landscaping and the views are lovely though. That's it.

I had two very happy days while owning at Mountain Falls; the day we purchased and the day we sold our lot. While it’s rare for me to complain, after seeing the negative reviews, I felt the need to step forward. I was one of the original buyers here. Renters are not welcome. Sure, they say they are and they accept them but only as second class citizens. They are frowned upon and every effort is made to ensure they are treated as second class citizens. They are also made aware that they are second class citizens. The board or 'condo commandos' are absolutely in charge and they truly don’t know how to run this “resort”. They are all out for their own enlightened self-interests. It is very sad that this area has deteriorated into a club of the few.
