The service here is what really stands out. The employees from management down to entry level strive to make your visit a great one. You could ask someone stocking produce if a certain video game is available and they would do anything from pointing you to electronics to picking up a phone or radio to find out directly. Selection here is well above average and items are rarely out of stock. Produce and meats are fresh and of good quality. Also this location just recently finished a remodel which has dramatically expanded their Natural food section. Personally, I hear people tell me they don't shop here because it's too expensive, yet whenever I've compared it to their choice, I've come out on top. Maybe people pre-judge or go solely by word of mouth and simply go to what they're used to already. I'm certain my family is in the poorest section of the local population and this is our choice for everyday shopping and grocery needs. If you've never tried Fred Meyer or it's been awhile, just go once and see what you think. I'd give them even more stars if I could!

Always dress for success unless you want to be followed around as a potential shoplifter. I’m a retired physician and I was wearing some jogging pants and my hair was a little longish but that shouldn’t allow staff to push me away from a bread display because I placed a toy item I had changed my mind on from the other side of the store. I was followed around the store by two or three “plain clothes” store staff (burly unshaven thug like men) until I just abandoned my shopping cart and went to pharmacy where the continued to stand 10 feet away until I left the store. I left a voicemail for the store manager as I waited for my prescription... no reply to date. It is with pleasure I report that we don’t shop at Fred Meyers anymore. After shopping there for over 35 years it is sad that Kroger has such an aggressive approach! Beware... you might be next! Always look your Best!

Good customer service! ! The cashier was so patient helping a group of teenagers ( having issues with their EBT )ahead of me . I wish all the stores could have this kind of service ALL the time.. Thanks to JAMES !!

The customer service at this store is really abysmal. I found a damaged product and found a worker nearby to report it to. When I asked if he worked there he didn’t look up and growled “yup” so I showed him the product I had in my hands. He just looked at me and made no motion to take it so I put it back down. Then I accidentally dropped a gallon of milk on my way out and notified a nearby worker who threw his head back, heavy sighed and walked off as I was apologizing. Didn’t offer to get a replacement. When I called the store to try and let them know my experience I couldn’t get through the automated “how can I help you” message without getting disconnected. I will not be returning to this Fred Meyer if this is the caliber of worker they hire. It takes nothing to be polite in return to a helpful and polite customer.

This Fred Meyer store at Beaverton Town Center has the best produce department in the entire area and the best customer service; the produce department is the centerpiece of the store; the superb produce manager and his well-trained staff make sure everything is fresh; the store manager and his two assistant managers set the tone for this store - hands-on managers who know how to take excellent care of customers; they understand the first law of retail - repeat customers; Maggie and Kim are deeply caring customer service personnel who go out of their way to serve all their customers; these are the reasons that make this store the best in this area.
