Fantastic for dine in experience. Hot and fresh.  I've been many times over 10 years and always consistently good. I don't normally give reviews, but this is one of the best chesse steaks you're going to get in North TX. I'm from  the east coast NJ / NY/ PA and have had many cheese steaks. Just give me more fries please. Fries are great and cheese steak egg rolls are a must try.

The ac didn't work but the food was excellent. Well seasoned. Fries were crispy. I will return worth the drive.Food: 5/5

Fred's is an ideal Philly Cheesesteak location.  Unfortunately, Authenticity means that they promote the city and the football team.  I love visiting after every eagles loss just to soak up the bitterness and regret.  Highly recommend the food though.

One of my favorite spots to go to, the people there remember you and are awesome. If it was closer I would go once a week if not more. The food is very tasty, I love the house sauce, and the Philly rolls are out of this world. Definitely a spot you have to experience at least once.Food: 5/5

Food has always been good in the past. Had not ordered from here in awhile.  Ordered through DoorDash.  Missing egg rolls and the Philly chips were thin, greasy and undercooked!!! Will not order from here ever again.  Very disappointing!!!Food: 1/5

We came in for lunch and had two delicious sandwiches.  Very hot and the bread was so soft.  I loved everything about it.  The fountain drinks used cane sugar too!Food: 5/5

Tried this place in carrollton for the first time on my lunch break but was quickly disappointed. The lady taking my order was very sweet and helpful. I ordered to go and when my number was called my food was just left on the counter. There were no napkins provided along with no to go condiments. I was told that they charged for KETCHUP and I would have to get back in that long line to purchase it. Needless to say the cook ruined this experience for me and I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone.

First time eating here, got take out. The number 20 & 9 are fantastic, we also got cajian fries. They were hot and crispy and very well seasoned. Incredibly well priced! When we come back to Texas we will definitely be ordering again.  Also the lady who to my phone order was so so so sweet and kind!

Really good sandwiches.  The fries are really good as well.  The prices are very reasonable and great staff. They even have wings and burgers as well.  I will definitely return here again.

I've been going to this location for a while now and all I can say is deliciousness.  I can't thank my friend enough for recommending this place to me.  Been a few years that I've been looking for good Philly cheesesteaks around the Dallas area and it was nothing but disappointment after disappointment until I came to Fred's.  I've heard that not all Fred's are legitimate Fred's, but this one is supposed to be one of two legitimate Fred's locations.  But on to my thoughts.  The Food  Tried both the cheesesteak and cheesesteak with mushrooms on different occasions.  Very well cooked and tasty.  Even better with a bit of the house sauce.  For my taste, the best cheesesteak I've had so far in Dallas.  But don't forget about the fries.  Crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside.  And they are the thin fries which I prefer.  My friend had the pizza cheesesteak and he really enjoyed it.  I must admit it looked really good and will be my next order when I go there next time.  Also I must add that their "real" sugar fountain drinks are icing on the cake.  Don't order bottled drinks, you'd be doing yourself a disservice.  Service  You order, pick up your food, and you clean after yourself.  So really it's not a full service restaurant.  Where they do shine is how friendly the staff is.  They're more than happy to chat with you and of course love hearing that you enjoyed their food.  Nice people.  Overall  Best cheesesteaks I've had in Dallas so far and I'll be going there regularly for as long as they're open.
