When I injured my spine, I tried every palliative path available in order to avoid surgery. The last attempt was to say ok to spinal injections. After two spinal injections I was told that surgery was likely. I agreed to speak with a surgeon as a consult, but not committing to surgery. Then I met Dr. Sweet. His confident, kind, no-nonsense approach to presenting the facts of my condition led me to my decision to indeed have surgery to correct the issue, and no longer seek temporary means of pain relief of the symptoms. I had a great hospital experience and the surgery went perfectly. My anxiety level was very low due to the Pre-op care I received and the fact that Dr. Sweet prayed by my side for everyone involved in my surgery. From day one I was pain free following surgery. With zero pressure,  Dr. Sweet’s approach helped me cross my line of resistance to surgery and I am so thankful for the results.

Dr. Fred Sweet and his staff, are excellent.  Friendly and treat you like you are the only person that matters at the time.   They listen and answer all questions.  Dr. Sweet did an excellent job, fixing my back.   My legs no longer hurt.  It has only been four weeks since my surgery, and I can walk farther already than I could before surgery.   Dr. Sweet is a true Christian.  And speaks very clear English.  And when you are hard of hearing as I am, that makes a big difference.

I had back surgery Dec 12 2017 in which Dr Sweet performed. I can't say enough about not only this amazing Surgeon but also about how genuine and caring he is as a human being! I found Dr Sweet to be honest and to the point on how he approached my condition and made me feel very confident! He will forever be in my heart for always being caring, and having a good sense of humor. I was in bad shape and he did an excellent job on my spine and gave me back my life! I was impressed when he prayed with me at my surgery! I would refer anyone who needs a surgeon for neck and back issues to contact his wonderful office staff and also his nursing staff and Physcian Assistant who helped me along the way with every concern I had no matter how trivial they were!

Dr. Sweet and staff returned me to an active life that I had always taken for granted and considered "normal."  After 9 months of pain from a compressed sciatic nerve during which I walked in a funny manner trying to avoid that pain, Dr. Sweet and his assistant Sean removed the cause via a Lumbar 4 laminectomy,  What a great way to begin the new year which began on January 2nd for me.  I walked into the hospital in pain and walked out 6 hours later free from that pain.  I have relearned how to walk correctly and only felt like a "kid" for a few weeks as I retrained my brain and muscles.  Thanks to Dr. Sweet and staff for making me feel 'young" again!

Dr. Sweet was very professional, explained everything thoroughly. He was very personable. I received excelent care before, during and after my procedure.  Excellent results!
