The store is beautiful and has unique and quality clothing. I have been in this store every few months for about five years to check out the new items, try things on, and get styling ideas from the displays. Mostly I come on a weekday when the store is basically empty. When I come in, I'm usually not greeted, which is only conspicuous when someone else comes in and is greeted cheerfully by both employees. I don't think they're being nasty, it feels like they genuinely don't even 'see' me. When I browse, I'm not offered help unless I'm carrying several items already...often not even then, and my two most recent visits I actually just helped myself to the dressing room because no employee had even made eye contact. I usually don't buy much in-store even though I often splurge online, and that's because I walk away from this store feeling invisible and like I didn't belong in there. No matter how gorgeous a $300 dress is, if you buy it while you feel invisible, you'll never feel anything but invisible when you put it on.
