I pass this spa all the time on training runs and also when heading home from Snowbasin. So when hubby and I got married in the area, I excitedly made nail appointments for 3 ladies in my family plus my daughter and made my own appointment for a facial. I called 3 months in advanced, and called back twice to confirm and make slight adjustments. I was told we'd have to have appointments back to back because of space limitations, but they'd make it work. Was totally cool with that. The last time I called, I was told something vague about an esthetician being in Hawaii, but we were still on. When we arrived for our appointments the day before the wedding, the woman at the front desk, she acted like she'd never heard of us, then very obviously lied, "Oh, I think I've heard of you! Let's go talk to so-and-so!" We walked to the back and spoke with another woman who said, "Ohhhhh... We *tried* to call you and tell you we couldn't keep your appointments, but got another woman with the same name as you who didn't know what we were talking about. So we went ahead and cancelled your appointments because all our estheticians are in Hawaii right now. We can give one of you a massage, but that's about it." Hmm, sounds legit... We decided to pass. They took my number down and promised to call back and make it right. It's been a few months since and haven't heard a word. Was a little embarassing to be sitting there w the ladies like, "Well... what do we do now?" I'm fairly easy-going (not exactly bridezilla :) ), so we went next door to Carlos and Harley's for beer and great food. Later, we painted our own nails back at the venue with crazy bright robin egg blue nail polish I happened to have. Was a memorable ending to a crappy story. :) BUT. I was pretty offended that they didn't bother to just own up in the first place and say, "Hey, we can't handle your wedding party," so we could've booked somewhere else. If you find yourself thinking about booking with a good spa, I would highly suggest looking somewhere else. The world needs a little more honesty in it.

Peaceful atmosphere, great massages, amazing yoga, awesome tea, coffee, smooties and soup, super cute yoga gear and other gift products. A treasured place in our valley!
