Story

Julieta Hernandez graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1993. As a member of the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce she was given a scholarship and graduated in their FastTrac entrepreneurial and business management program.In 2007 the local City Weekly newspaper awarded Julieta the Staff Choice Award for "Best Deep-Tissue Masseuse", with the following review:"When Hernandez lays her hands on you, don't expect to start talking in tongues or to begin jumping up and down after years of being bedridden. However, you can expect to swear just a little bit while the muscles you've been abusing by not using perform their own kind of liberating dance. If you need to be healed and pampered (yes, she has a kind streak), try her deep tissue massage. Thanks to her precise trigger point work, you can kiss any tension in your body goodbye".

I took my wife to get a couples massage for our anniversary. Zach was the one who did my massage. Although he was new, he did a great job listening to my requests and making adjustments. His technique was great and he really worked the areas well on which I wanted extra work. I highly recommend him for deep tissue massage and reflexology. Thank you Zach. :) The facility is also very nice and conducive to relaxing.

Very inviting and unique atmosphere. Most importantly my therapist Paul actually listened to my condition and where I would like the focus on my session. He was very thorough and checked in on pressure and such, but not too much that is was not relaxing. Thank you for two wonderful sessions! I recommend this to anyone looking for getting exactly what you requested. Thank you Matrixx!

I went last week to get a foot detox, (first one ever) and was pleasantly surprised. The detox was great and I felt a difference afterwards. They were very helpful in explaining the process and what I would be seeing. They gave me a pamphlet of what the different colors mean, so I understood the detox more. Will definitely be back for this and other treatments! Can't wait!

I had a fusion less than a year ago and have struggled to find a decent massage therapist. I finally found JOSH, and he is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! He is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable of the body. I always feel so relaxed when leaving the Matrix.

So we went to the Spa on our anniversary and had the Diamond Package, while it was a good experience I feel like it was false advertising and that we didn't get what we thought we were paying for. We were supposed to get a 90 minute couple massage + Hot Stone Treatment + 15 minutes Reflexology + 30 minute Express Facial and Salt Body Scrub. All of the 90 minutes couples massage and hot stone treatment and 15 minute reflexology was a total of 90 minutes. The Hot Stone treatment consisted of laying stones on my hand and three stones on a bed sheet that was on my back and lasted for like 5 minutes, I thought it would have been a lot more than that. The reflexology was probably 5 minutes or less as well. The facial and body scrub lasted about 45 minutes total which could be good but the facial seemed to be less than 30 minutes and I don't know how long a salt body scrub should last so no complaints there and the steam room was nice. Overall it was a good experience I was just expecting more hot stone therapy and more reflexology. I still left a good tip because I didn't feel like the massage therapists tried to jip us but I definitely think the spa owes us a partial refund or some kind of voucher to compensate for what we didn't receive.
