Frizzles is a salon dedicated to the entire perception of beauty. We specialize in astonishing hair color and superior cuts and styling for men and women. Come in and let our experienced staff turn your ideas into reality with our full range of services including haircuts and blow dry, full color, color touch up, highlights, partial highlights, shampoo and blowdry only, body wave, spiral perm and straightening. We also offer specialty treatments such as the Keratin Complex Treatment, and Keratin Express Treatment.

Our award-winning stylists are trained in advanced color techniques and treatments, from low maintenance, face-framing highlights to bold, high-fashion color applications. They can refine your look or define your look, helping your style change a little or alot. We use only the best products available, including Bumble and Bumble, Kerastase, and Moroccanoil. In addition to our stellar hair services, we also provide a selection of spa services including waxing, manicures and pedicures.

Great place! Found the salon (and my go-to stylist, Betty) by chance when I moved to the area 2 years ago and decided to stop dying my own hair. Came in on a whim and then never looked anywhere else! I come in and get my hair dyed and cut every 6-8 weeks and have absolutely no complaints for the entire 2 years now. Everyone is friendly, the salon is clean and comfortable, and there is plenty of parking on the street or in the nearby garage. Highly recommend.

I’ve been in this salon two weeks before for a consultation with Jocelyn . She was super nice with me . We decided to make an appointment to dye my hair in June . I called today to cancel my appointment. The front disk lady was so rude with me . She hanged up the phone twice while I’m talking to her. She was talking to me in hurry with very mean way!!! . I need to mention that when I was trying to call before to schedule a consultation appointment she talked to me in the same way . I thought first that she didn’t hear me . But I made sure today that she such a rude person and she needs to learn how to respect ppl .

The haircut was fine. I felt like she shampoo was rushed and I was shocked when the stylist ripped a giant hairball out of his brush before brushing my hair with it. I regret not stopping him there and leaving. A bad haircut can be fixed but unsanitary cant. —edit in response to the owner/manager I would rather the brush be cleaned and sanitized in accordance with VA law. I waited 5 months because I honestly debated filing a complaint with the state. While looking for a new salon, I saw yours listed and since I never filed a complaint, I decided that a review would be fine. I was called by the manager who left a message complaining about how I waited five months and was never offered an apology over message or phone. No I did not return the call, and will not be returning it, because I felt the voicemail was rude and did not want to be harassed over the phone over their poor practices.

Finally found this gem! Went to Frizzles to get full highlights after a friend recommended Sami. Sami, who is the owner, was just AMAZING! He asked nicely what I wanted to do then started working on my hair immediately. He’s fast, very stylish and super caring. After 5 years in DC, I finally found my awesome hair spot and a new friend :) Thank you Sami and Frizzles. Xoxo
