I stopped in a few weeks ago to get a new pair of shoes and some tips for increasing my mileage. April welcomed me to the store and analyzed my running on a treadmill before suggesting at least 5 different shoes to try. She was patient and had a answer for all of my questions. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the Central Florida area who loves to run. The experience was personal and much better than any of the big chain stores.

The staff is quite nice and helpful. The gait analysis is good. I'm sure my problem is not unique, although it's not all that common. I have difficulty finding shoes that feel good on me. I ended up bringing back several pairs and the owner does allow this to be done as long as they are in re-sellable shape which I had no problem with. The money does stay in the store once you make a purchase. I did find the store to be on the expensive side and not everything is marked with a price, but you can find out by asking. Overall, I did have an ok experience, however, for my needs I would not make a purchase here again.

I've never been treated in such a manner before... Long story short, I take my dad to the store because he was considering to buy a good pair of walking shoes. I will say that they were professional and diligent in the gait analysis and allowing my dad to try on multiple pairs of shoes to see what he liked and worked for him best. They took their time. Granted, we were the only people in the store. However, the woman helping us (I wish I had gotten her name) made one random comment while my dad was outside testing a part of shoes as we waited inside. "I don't know what's taking him so long." I almost felt like we were inconveniencing her for being there. If he's going to spend over $100 on a pair of shoes, he wants to make sure it's what he wants and works best for him. I ignored her and allowed my dad to continue to do his thing. After he chose a pair that he liked best, he indicated that he wanted to sleep on it due to the price. I took the box and I was going to take a picture of the label with my phone so that if he decided he wanted them tomorrow, we would have exactly what brand, make, size, width, etc it was so that we could just come back the next day and it would be an in and out purchase. However, the woman helping us snatched the box from me, told me I couldn't do that because they "spend all this time with us on the analysis and sizing" and flat out said, "They're going to be $130 no matter where you go." Basically insinuating that I was just using them to get the label and then shop elsewhere. The woman offered to put the shoe information in their computer system which I said was fine. So long as SOMEONE had the shoe's information documented so we could make an easy purchase the next day was all I cared about. So I go with her to the counter and proceed to do the aforementioned. But, while she's entering the information into the system, she's holding the box so she can read the information off the label. Then, she stares at me for a moment and subsequently puts the box down behind the counter and continues her work on the computer. My eyes are good, but not that good! I couldn't have read that label even if I had wanted to. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal or something. I'm sorry if the business may have had bad past experiences with customers which may have prompted them to treat me the way they did. But they lost a potential customer and a regular participant in their sponsored races. They're not getting any more of my money.

I have never had a more methodical and memorable experience, customized to my individualized running needs. April, the owner, took her time observing my run, walk and gait with a gait analysis (including video we replayed to show me how I was running). She showed me how one of my feet pronated while the other was neutral. I have been to a number of running shoe stores and never knew about pronation or had such a detailed gait analysis. April is very knowledgeable and a practicing runner which made me feel comfortable accepting her recommendations. I also enjoyed the camaraderie of the running group! Thanks for organizing all of this!
