Been shopping here for over a year. Suits my basic needs, and the cashiers are all great, and they get along great with my slightly insane young son. That's the good bit, and worth a star.

What absolutely ruins it is the 10% surcharge they tack on to all purchases. No, not a state sales tax. A store tax. At 10% of purchase value. That is to say, if you purchase $10 worth of already profitable goods, you pay $1 for the privilege of filling your belly and lining their coffers with Hamilton's majestic visage. A mandatory gratuity. That's fairly insulting. Apparently, if you're using food stamps, they apply it to that as well. A double-slap in the face. Neither seniors or the disabled on a fixed income receive a break. Now that -- that is a kick in the nuts.

So much for the review professing to save money, and stretch their limited budget. So much for the name.

Unfortunately, I prefer not to bike several miles to the neighboring town and back laden with shopping bags.

I save every time I go. The cashiers are always friendly, the butcher and deli staff are great. You just can't go wrong by skipping here! The sale prices are crazy low on top of what you're already saving. Thanks guys for helping me stretch my limited budget.

Oh my God . Everytime we are in BSL MS. I buy groceries to take back to Dallas. Prices are amazing, selection is outstanding and the employees are Barr none the most pleasant and helpful people to ever run a supermarket.

First time in this store. Doesn't seem to have as much meat as the other two that I have been to. Store clean and I was greeted as I entered the store.
