This was my 2nd visit. The food was ok. The chicken nachos,I’d rate a 4. My kids really enjoyed them. We didn’t finish our tacos. They taste bland, the sauce on the table really didn’t help much. I had a frozen peach margarita. I didn’t taste any peach flavor. I didn’t complain though. The drink was strong,I’m not much of a drinker though. Unfortunately, there was a string of hair on 1 of the tacos. I notified a worker & they remade it. Both of my visits were during 2pm-5pm Tuesday special. I’ll try this place once more & order outside of the daily specials. Maybe I’ll have better luck just ordering regular priced items.
Possibly the worst dining experience of all time. Mahi tacos, cold. Beef brisket taco, close to warm, tiny water cups and the entire facility is dirty. While we were sitting there decided what to do, the fire alarm “accidentally” goes off. Had to go outside for 10 minutes while our already poor food was getting colder. We are tapping out and will not return.
How this place works is, you order at the register and then they prepare your food. Good food at a good price. I would say the only thing is, their drinks were good, but didn't really taste much liqour.
Weirdest experience. Ordered to go, cool. Ordered a beer at the bar while I wait but had to go the the register and get a receipt. I told Cory or Corey that I ordered a Dales Pale Ale he said “I know” and he gave me the run down of their protocol: “Usually we call out your name and set the drink over there.” Only me and one guy at the bar. I’ve been to bars all over the country so if that’s you’re protocol it’s pretty stupid. I said it’s our first time here and probably our last. He said “good.” We all have had days but alright. Kitchen staff was cool as hell and girl at the register was nice. Thanks for the food. We all have bad days but I’m not very confrontational. Maybe reconsider a job that’s not in customer service.
Looking at the special prices on the door had my hopes up. $7 for a big plate of nachos. I go in and sit down, waiting for a menu. There at least 10 minutes. No one came up to tell me there was a counter to order at, Finally figured it out. Was told there would be 30 minute wait, only two people on kitchen. More at the bar, and there wasn’t even 10 customers. Was feeling better when the wait turned out to be fifteen. Went up got the food and brought it back. My fish tacos were cold, so cold it was questionable if it was even microwaved. The nachos were warm, not a comforting feeling. Expecting a hot meal and again barely and heat, the beef on it was also cold. The chips were so flimsy nothing would pick up without breaking. You would think it’s pretty hard to screw up chips and salsa, well fuzzys proves otherwise. Was less than mild flavor, absolutely NO bite. Was like eating tomato sauce with a couple chopped onions. The bathroom floors were also insanely sticky. The small stall had no bag hanger, so I went into the large one, but alas it did not lock. In the middle of our meal someone pulled the fire alarm. There was no fire but they made us get up and leave our meals. Unsupervised. Never got an apology. The outdoor tables had huge rust spots. Will not be returning
I placed an order through UberEats, I’ve ordered from this location several times and I’ve never had an issue but tonight was the worst. All of my grilled shrimp tacos were RAW, I was missing item from my order, and my “beef” nachos came with chips, sour cream on the top, very little sprinkled shredded cheese, but no queso cheese and no beef. I’m not sure if I’ll ever order from this location again
We had a few special orders with or without dislike or can't eat items. In line we had 2 people ahead of us. The person taking orders I don't think could hear or understand the people after reaching our time to order I began to understand. Standing in line & placing our order took 40 minutes. Line was super long after us. None of special orders were placed so not kitchen fault. What food could be eaten was hot and good flavor, just not worth the long wait when you have 2 younger boys. Over the years we have visited a lot. Understanding this industry can't get good help or keep it. But the place has gotten run down and a lot dirtier these days as well. We love this location but it will be awhile before we try again. Taco Tuesday is here hope they make it through.
*Update* Definitely got food poisoning here too. "Welcome to your new addiction" Absolutely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a very long time. The cashier didn't even remotely listen to my order I had to repeat myself 3 times and not a single thing was right. They called my number and didn't give me the chips I paid for mind you. I had to wait in line again to purchase the extra topping I told the cashier I wanted and he didn't put in the system then and show the receipt for my chips the food runner refused to get me. $40 later I get two cold tacos with nothing correct on them half still frozen meat on them. I could've made more of a fuss but it would've been in vain. So, I apologize my new addiction isn't dangerously cooked food and awful customer service. Any single taco bell location blows this place out of the water by a very long shot.
Bland. Basic. The food or drinks aren't outstanding. The tacos and burritos had no spices on them except maybe salt and pepper. The same goes for the chicken nachos. The cashier taking our order was the only person refilling drinks, and answering the phone. Overall it took about 25 minutes to order, when that could have been reduced had the bartender or someone from the back helped out.
This place is awesome! The ordering set up was a little different but once we figured that out everything else went smooth. I ordered fajita chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, beef tacos, sopadilla, churros, and strawberry margaritas. The food was so good that we ordered another round. This was never part of the plan. We're from out of town and we wanted to enjoy this one more time! It's that good.
