I have bought 4 roofs from G&W over the past 11 years (three big hurricanes). They are priced fair and stand by their work. Dave King has serviced my account for all of that time. In addition, they have an excellent service department that is a separate division from the roof installers. On two of my projects they solved issues that existed on the homes for many years. A great example of the quality of their work occurred recently during hurricane Irma. Our boat house was built and shingled 12 years ago before I met G&W. As I mentioned G&W did our main house a year later. After Irma, we needed a new roof on the boat house; entire rows of shingles were missing. On the main house we lost a few cap shingles that were replaced very quickly. I would highly recommend G&W.

G&W Roofing did an excellent job on the roof at my office. The roofers were professional and worked very diligently to ensure that the roof was replaced as quickly as possible. Paul and Dave will take good care of you! Great job guys!

G & W Roofing replaced our roof many years ago, we recently had an issue (not a leak) and they were fast to repair at no charge. The jobsite was always left clean, the workers were courteous, and the County Inspectors liked their work. Glad to know there is a quality roofer here in our community.

This review is based solely on their business practices which made me too leery to have them do the work on my family's Florida home. They were scheduled to replace our roof but called to postpone the work due to a terrible storm (understandable). I asked if they could begin on a Friday, so they rescheduled it for Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. I called two days before and confirmed the date. The office person cheerily CONFIRMED I WAS ON THE SCHEDULE Friday and they would be at my residence Friday morning. I stressed several times how important the dates were (4 days) that I was on a tight schedule. The office person corrected me and stated it would actually take only 3 days but they could lose a day due to weather. I stated that was fine because if it only took 3 days and they lost a day due to weather, it would still be done within 4 days. She agreed. All was well. Friday morning G & W Roofing was a NO CALL, NO SHOW. I waited and waited then finally called to inquire. The secretary stated there was a delay because it rained the day before (understandable) so they would arrive at my residence later in the day Friday, not in the morning. She said she was contacting someone and would call back IN A FEW MINUTES to let me know about what time they would arrive. SHE DID NOT CALL BACK. Over an hour passed and I called again. The secretary said, "..oh, you're actually on the schedule for MONDAY". When I asked to cancel the contract, she said they would charge me for the permit cost. INCREDIBLE. The VP promptly called upon hearing I wanted to cancel the contract. He provided some interesting information. He stated it was impossible to have done the work in the timeframe originally promised by the company anyway due to removing the original roof, inspections, and whatever else. The company gave us a full refund of the deposit and cancelled the contract without incident. This company may possibly do good work (so I gave 2 stars rather than 1), but the failure to communicate schedule changes, inaccurate information, and the seemingly lack of consideration for the customer or the customer's time, made me too apprehensive to have them do the work.

The roofers came when they said they would. Every day they spotlessly cleaned up the outside of the house before they left. They have fixed small parts of my roof previously but this was a complete reroofing. They addressed my concerns and I'm happy.
