I contacted Pioneer Roofing because i had two family members use them in the past, and said they were reliable. i worked with Bill Mellinger, who answered all my questions, was prompt in getting back to me with the information i needed, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right and on time, as I was on a deadline. The work crews were competent and efficient. All work related materials were promptly removed from the site, leaving it as it was found. I highly recommend Pioneer Roofing and Bill Mellinger.for your roofing and siding needs.
Our home had a twenty-five year old two layer shingled roof. While luckily we hadn’t had any leaks, it was visibly wavy and shingles were pulling up. I guess we were playing chicken with the leak potential, waiting for a severe hailstorm that would justify an insurance claim. As I noticed the further deterioration of our roof we made the decision to bite the bullet and get a new roof. We knew that Pioneer had done several roofs in our neighborhood and we decided to invite them to be one of the companies from which we obtained estimates. Jason and Zack came and gave us a very competitive quote and I was impressed with their extensive knowledge and obvious care in providing a quality roof. Our roof needed to be completely replaced, down to the rafters, roof decking, shingles and all. The crew got a bright and early start at 6:00am and worked diligently throughout the day. Our new beautiful roof was completed by 5:30pm amazing!. Their clean-up returned our landscaping, deck, and lawn to its pre-work condition. No one would be able to tell that any work had been done. We are very pleased with our new roof and would wholeheartedly endorse Pioneer Roofing for your roofing needs!
Great people to deal with. Jason worked hard to make sure the complete roof was installed not just the back half that was damaged in the tornado and hail. The crew that did the work was some of the hardest working people I’ve met . They cleaned up very well and the new roof looks great.
Had Pioneer roofing install a new roof about five years ago. There was a small issue that didn’t show itself until recently. The Pioneer repair crew came out twice with the owner Jason Lee coming out once to look for his self, leaving with a had shake and saying “I’ll take care of it” and did exactly what he said he would! You don’t find this often nowadays, a hand shake then deliver! I highly recommend Pioneer they stand behind their work and take pride in what they do!
When searching for a company to replace our vinyl siding, we were hoping to stay with a local, reputable company. After a few different quotes, we felt confident in choosing Pioneer after their competitive quote & decent communication. However, after we signed the contract, everything seemed to change. Communication substantially decreased. We were told the night before the job was to start, leaving us little time to prep. Following the job, there were a handful of issues we brought up. Without notice, an employee showed up on a Saturday, said they’d come back on Monday to fix them. No communication on Monday, and after we reached out, we were told Wednesday, still no one came. A week went by and we reached out again. Eventually, caulking was redone, but a loose electrical outlet was not re-secured. The next day, someone in an unmarked vehicle and street clothes showed up with a drill on our back porch, without us having any idea they were coming to fix the outlet. The most frustrating part was that we paid an additional amount to have the trim board around a large picture window replaced and resealed, due to prior water issues. Following the job, when the next heavy storm came, water began to leak inside the house during the middle of the night, substantially worse than our previous leak. Once we got up on the roof, we found several issues around the window, including no caulking under the window, several large cracks in the new caulking and reused metal flashing. When we called Pioneer, they said they could come look at it that week. Two weeks later a team came and hopped up on the roof without even knocking on the door or texting one of us, literally standing outside our second story bathroom window. The following week they replaced the flashing, re-caulked and there was no additional follow-up or communication from anyone at Pioneer. We were extremely disappointed in the lack of communication, customer service and unprofessionalism. This project ended up lasting over 3 months. A neighbor saw the sign in our yard during the job and asked a few weeks later if we would recommend them, we unfortunately had to tell her no. We wouldn’t want someone to have the same issues we had.
I had the pleasure of working with Bill Mellinger as he assisted my father in law with a new roof, gutters and a few other items. He also needed windows and before he reached out to the wrong person, Bill helped out as if to say “I’ve got some advice for you little buddy,” and referred him to someone that was extremely fair and worked almost as fast as Bill! Top notch service, I will be recommending Bill and Pioneer Roofing any chance I get!
I want to share my excellent experience with Zach, Wes, and the entire Pioneer Roofing team. Zach worked with me on the initial inquiry and going through the materials to be used and Wes helped during the actual installation. Both checked in with me and the project multiple times and were great to work with. Wes also came back to make sure as many nails as possible were recovered with his industrial sized magnet! Would happily recommend them for your roofing and gutter needs! I think the finished project speaks for itself!
After researching area roofing companies, we chose Pioneer and are very pleased with our decision. We worked with Bill, who explained everything. The crew was great, quality work in a timely manner. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. Bill followed up with us to review the job done. Overall, a very positive experience.
Pioneer Roofing just completed our new roof. I couldn't be happier. From the beginning of the process Wes was very helpful explaining all the ins and outs of what makes a quality roof. I showed him all my areas of concern as we had several areas with rot that needed addressed. He assured me that all my concerns would be repaired and that our roof would be in warranty for the next 50 years! And he absolutely delivered on his promises. First of all my new roof is gorgeous! And who would normally say that about a roof?! Not me. A crew of 9 guys came the morning of my roof job and after being here 5 minutes, they were up on the roof scraping the old roof off. And they didn't stop working until 1pm for a brief lunch break. These guys worked hard and fast but didn't skimp on quality while doing it. Wes was here directing their efforts and getting them the materials they needed to complete the job. I highly recommend Pioneer Roofing and Restoration. I will tell anyone I know to use them. They are the real deal.
I don't normally write reviews, but I'd be remiss if I didn't relate the great experience we had with Wes and the team at Pioneer. To say we had a roof with issues would be the understatement of the year. Our job was complicated by the lack of slope over parts of the roof and required a solution with more than just shingles. The rubber membrane solution they installed is brilliant. But wait... there's more! After tear-off, they found issues that led us to re-sheathing most of the house. Then they needed to shore up trusses over the family room see the pic and even had to rebuild the slope and relocate the valleys on the roof over the family room. Ugh, right? Nope. Wes talked me thru every issue and every step of how it would be addressed. The crew is the hardest working bunch of guys you'll find and did it all quickly and professionally. At the end of it all, we went from a roof with more issues than we knew, to a roof that I'm confident was done right and will last. Thanks Wes and the crew at Pioneer Roofing & Restoration!
