Went to this doctor in 2013. Dr. Garcia-Diaz operated on my back & after the surgery NEVER came by to check on me... which he had told me he would do. Dr. Garcia-Diaz had assured me I would be kept @ the hospital for a day or two if there were any problems... I had incredible pain and numbness in my left leg yet the recovery nurse apparently never told anyone & Dr. Garcia-Diaz of course was a no show post-op as I already mentioned. I was quickly sent home post-op & began having horrible pain in my right leg in addition to the pain & numbness already in my left. Contacted Dr. Garcia-Diaz... he wouldn't do anything. Finally saw Dr. Garcia-Diaz a week or so after the op.... still wouldn't do anything. I kept contacting him & it wasn't until 4 months after my back surgery that he finally ordered an mri. When I saw Dr. Garcia-Diaz to discuss my mri he NEVER once informed me that the mri report discussed a possibly significant infection in my back! Would have explained the redness & "skin" fever I had had in my lower back for the past 4 months! He & his staff would not readily give me the mri report... took almost an hour & they only gave me a copy when I told them I would simply go down to the imaging center & get it myself!!! I would NEVER TRUST DR. GARCIA-DIAZ TO OPERATE ON MYSELF EVER AGAIN OR ANYONE I CARE ABOUT... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I AM STILL LIVING WITH HIS MISTAKES NEARLY 4 YEARS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen Dr Garcia Diaz in the office and am preparing for a. Back surgery with him. I love him and have complete confidence in him and his knowledge and abilities, Merced and surrounding communities are so fortunate to have such a wonderful and comprehensive surgeon in our area. Thank you Dr. Garcia Diaz!

experience was great, I feel better than I have in yrs,I would recommend them to anyone suffering from back pain
