Story

Our family has been serving traditional Italian cuisine in a relaxed family environment since 1953. We take great pride in our recipes, which are prepared fresh every day.

Food is a passion for our family, and we love sharing that passion with Oklahoma City with handmade pastas, sauces, sausage, meatballs, and ravioli. We grate and shred our own cheeses, we carve our own meats, we even pick our own herbs when it is possible to do so. We don't just care about food. We love food. And we want to share our food with you.

We had an extremely long wait for the staff to acknowledge us and seat us even though the place was close to empty. The atmosphere in the front seating area was great; however, our waiter rudely stated that we must wait until next time to be seated there. Instead, we were seated in a noisy area, next to a kitchen that smelled of rotten fish. The food was subpar, except for the truffle chicken and garlic bread with dip. It's too bad, we really wanted to like this place. It has so much potential. I believe kinder and more attentive staff and changing the way the food on the menu is seasoned and prepared can make a huge difference. The quality of the ingredients was great, but the food did not taste all that great. We could definitely prepare something much tastier at home. We hope some changes are made as we see the potential and don't want to make our first visit our last. (We just added rosemary to the spaghetti and meatballs from our leftovers, and it greatly increased the flavor. It didn't make the dish taste 100% better, but certainly helped. 😊)

My wife and I were looking for a romantic dinner. We were seated in the bar area which was noisy and the waiters were loud. We asked about the more romantic seating after we were seated (there were only 4 other parties besides us in the whole restaurant and 2 of them were in the bar area). The waiter replied with an attitude that if we wanted that seating over there we should have asked before we were seated. The waiter was rude and pushy all night. His breath was terrible. The kitchen smelled like old fish when we walked by, the one thing we both wanted on the menu they were out of. Spaghetti and meatballs were ok, the noodles were really good, the fried chicken truffle was excellent, the greens on the side were too salty. Wife thought it was so bitter she spit it out and I've never seen her do that . overall one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a restaurant. This place has a lot of potential.

It's been a couple months since I have went. I thought I had given a review, but here goes. Ordered the toasted ravioli for apps have to say they were very good. The server knew her wines. Go my main course which was gnocchi. They were so over cooked I had to use a spoon to pick them up. It was almost like eating smashed up food. I don't really recommend that dish. All of these are just my opinions but feel free to try for yourself.

Over priced. Uncomfortable seating, my wife had to borrow a car from staff without arms so I could seat more comfortably. Terribly cold in the middle of the day. Music to loud to have conversation. Although food was good a bill for almost $100 is pretty steep for 2 pasta, 1 pizza and 2 tiramisu. I requested Angel hair pasta but they wouldn't accommodate. Real shame. 1st & last time there.

Had a 6:30 reservation and got seated at 7. Didn't get our drink orders for about 10 to 15 minutes. It took about 50 minutes for our food to show up. We asked for a second round of drinks but after waiting another 15 minutes we just canceled them and paid the bill. Food was good. Only reason it gets 3 stars is because our friends said it's usually better than that. Otherwise I'd say give a 1 or 2 star rating.
