Delicious food and ready on time for pickup! I especially enjoyed the Sesame Tofu, the sauce is super good and the tofu’s texture is great. Wish I had the recipe because my tofu never comes out like this LOL ! My mom had the Chicken & Broccoli, and she liked it a lot. The veggie spring rolls were nice and crispy. Also just a heads up that the veggie dry pot is spicy even at the regular level, so if you have a low tolerance, just be aware of that. Overall great lunch spot with friendly staff :
Ordered a Dry Hot Pot and it tasted absolutely delicious! Ingredients used were fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff on hand were super friendly as well! Looking forward to try out the other dishes on the menu. I love the spring roll and glad i added it on as part of a combo!
Great quick and cheap food. Flavors are great no greasy or oily taste. You can actually eat this and not feel bad about yourself. Lots of options including dry pot dishes and dumplings. I had the general Tso’s chicken and it was great. Real chicken with lots of flavor. Will definitely be adding this to my lunch rotation.
I was really excited to come here to try out a new Chinese restaurant in the New York City area. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that this is not a restaurant to eat inside at. Rather, they have a window pointing to the street, and you just order and pick up food from there to go. They are still in the process of officially opening, so you can clearly see a lot of construction and packaged items in the restaurant. I decided to get their chicken dry pot with rice. This was some small pieces of chicken and cabbage is a mildly spiced sauce. Maybe it was because I want there near the end of the day on the last day of their testing period, but the dish itself was just ok. I had chosen the option for the dish to be very spicy, however there was no spice at all. Additionally, the dish itself had almost no flavor. It was lacking in spices all around. Overall, I do think this restaurant holds a promise in the items they will be selling, so I will definitely have to try this place again to see if this was just a small hiccup in their path to opening.
My friend took me to lunch today. It was the first time for both of us. The food was okay. For about $15 you get an entree, 2 dumplings, and a can of soda. Everything tasted decent enough although the dumplings were def fried hard and had a crunch to them. The staff was very nice. Just be mindful, there is where to wait while the staff prepares your food. This is a walk up and order. So I'm editing my review after the owner or another staff commented on my review. Lower Manhattan is a sea of restaurants. You definitely need something to stand out. In some of the photos Google Maps you have bags with your business logo. Have u ever thought of making the food in to-go boxes with your logo? That way you can really walk and eat with it and get some advertising to others.
This place has become my go-to spot recently. The food is tasty, simple as that. I had this beef dry pot for lunch, not bad at all. Can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu.
Today I walked by this place and decided to grab lunch here, and was surprised by the quality and great at this price level. I ordered sesame tofu and tried a sample of general Tso chicken while I was waiting. This will be one of my go-to places for lunch!Recommended dishesSesame Tofu
Very nice to try a different part of the city and something new. I swung by on Tuesday evening they close early on Wednesday's, learned that the hard way and tried the General Tso's chicken bowl. Delicious! Simple and hit all the right flavors that leaves you wanting more. I will keep this in mind when visiting the area as I haven't explored much in FiDi. The service was a bit odd as we had to wait upon arriving about five minutes with no one in sight. Took about 10 after ordering to receive and then walked down and grabbed a seat near by.
Super tasty food!! So happy I can get dry pot in FiDi! My favorite was the beef dry pot, and I also enjoyed the chicken and tofu ones and the veg added to the dry pot seaweed knot, cabbage, etc. The staff was really friendly as well when I picked up!Recommended dishesBeef Dry Pot, Chicken Dry Pot, Veggie Dry Pot with Tofu
GaGa should be a great addition to the neighborhood -- quick and easy lunch in a part of town that can always use more options. The first time, I waited several minutes, thought I heard my name, and approached the window. It wasn't my name so I apologized, and stepped away. A few minutes later one of the employees walked out and handed me my order. When I got back to my office, it was not the General Tso's, tea, and dumplings I had ordered but Garlic chicken with dumplings and a ginger ale. It tasted fine though so I thought I'd give it another try. This time, I ordered online, showed up at the ETA, and had to wait an additional ten minutes. When I was back at my office, I found that the dumplings and drink combo I had ordered with my meal was entirely missing. Maybe I should check my bag every time it's handed to me, but that doesn't really seem like an expectation that should ever be set. I don't think I'll be going back.
