If you have never eaten here you're probably not very cool. But they don't rub your nose in it. The dumplings... sublime. The drinks specials... truly special. Hush puppies? Satisfying lying slightly undercooked.

Incredible menu, atmosphere, and full bar for such a small place. I read other reviews that suggested ordering a bunch of items and sharing them because portions are small - like tapas - but oh so delicious. So my table of 5 did and it was magical. I think we ordered 9 dishes total. We walked out full, happy and surprised by this restaurant. It was a bit loud with the live DJ though, so if you're sensitive to sound I wouldn't go on a Saturday night. Perhaps call to see when the DJ is in before you go? Otherwise, prepare to be thankful you walked down what looks like a parking alleyway and into Gaja!

Hip Trendy Korean Bar... I went with my family yesterday evening for a casual bite to eat. The restaurant has a warehouse neon kind of feel to it open an area with very high industrial ceilings. Greeters were not available from the time of arrival had to wait a good six minutes before somebody noticed us. Lots of hipsters in the area as Glenwood Avenue around the corner is known for its trendy shops. Parking is at a premium so you might have to walk a little bit . Initially they did not have any seats available so they put us out on the patio. They did not inform us that the patio was also an active smoking section. They eventually moved us inside to a very small quaint table where we had our meals. I had the spicy tofu with rice which serve very small portions, Euro style. My wife had the beef and my daughter had a shrimp dish with pineapple. The spicy tofu I had wasn't spicy however it was a bit salty I was expecting a semi sweet taste. The presentation of all the meals were excellent with lots of garnishment carrots Etc. The place is quite loud so if you're looking for a quaint casual place this is not the location for you. This is a little bit different take on Korean food for those who want it. Always trust my reviews.

The food is completely amazing. Come with 4-6 people and share most of the menu. I love the scallion pancake, dumplings, fried chicken, and the short rib. The kimchi fried rice is also delicious. Their wine pours are generous. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was the noise - the music was insanely loud and we all had to shout across the table. I will be back for the food, but I'll ask to be seated away from any speakers.
