Dr. Graham is by far the best vet I have taken my cat to. She is amazing with my grumpy old kitty, and is extremely helpful and willing to answer all my questions and concerns. I called A Plus Animal Hospital when my cat was having issues urinating, I did some research myself about what the problem might be, and every site I looked at said it was an EMERGENCY, especially for male cats. So I called my cats original vet, which was A Plus, and they said the soonest they could get him in was the weekend, I called on a Wednesday. My cat could be dead by then so I called Galena afterwards and they were able to get me in that day since it was an emergency. I could not be more thankful and they now have a forever customer because of their willingness to help me. Thanks Galena!

My 8 yr old Rottweiler started do display sharp pain on his upper back over his rear haunches so we took him into Galena Vet. The first diagnosis from Ford was that he had a sprained pelvis. Antiinflammatories we're prescribed and we were told to give it a week. Throughout the week our dogs pain turned into cripplingly pain. I took him in again, now they told me he has a urinary tract infection, and that could be a source of the pain. Keep in mind, at this point he was displaying what appeared to be a advanced hip dysplasia, which he did not have. A sonogram was taken of his back. We were told by Ford that he did not see anything, he did admit that he was a general practitioner and really wasn't qualified to diagnose off of the sonogram. He prescribed antibiotics and a pain medicine. Again we were told to wait. The next two days we're hell on our boy, his pain was extreme and now he could not get up and walk. We asked for the sonogram to be sent to Klaich Vet, and we took him in. In under 10 minutes after being seen, the vets at Klaich diagnosed him with a large tumor in his spine. This was the source of the pain and the reason his back end had given up. If we would had just gone to Klaich in the first place we could have saved our boy a week of excruciating pain. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the Galena Vet and Ford. Our boy was put down on the 14th, today is the 20th, and no one from Galena Vet has called to check up, we have not informed them of his death. Pathetic

By far the best veterinarians in town. We have seen both Dr. Ford and Dr. Graham and they are wonderful as well as their staff. My dogs are great going there and not scared so that is a plus!

The staff here is super friendly and they are always helpful about taking care of my dogs when trouble arises.

Dr.Ford and staff are the best in town with years of experience and great customer service. I wouldn't trust my dogs anywhere else.
