Delicious American gastropub with extensive wine and beer selection and a decent selection of daily steaks and fish. Something for everyone in a great atmosphere that isn't too fancy nor is it too laid back. Great service and a lot of wonderful variety on the menu. The lobster mac and cheese is an essential starter.

I went there for a private dinner with about 14 other people. They were prepared for us. Water was already on the table and once the majority of the party arrived they brought out this really delicious bread. Since our menu was prefix, i choose the half chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli.  In the back of my mind, I was prepared to  have some mediocre mashed potatoes that would need additional salt and pepper and prayed the chicken will be well cooked so all i would have to do is add hot sauce to it. Boy was I wrong. The mashed potatoes were heavenly and the chicken was even better.  I did not need to add anything to my meal. Everyone who had the half chicken could not stop gushing about how delicious it was. Some of us even shared with others who had the penne instead. In closing, the food was great, the service was great and the kitchen ran efficiently.

This is my first time here an I can honestly say the food here is amazing. Our server was amazing and very attentive to all of our needs. The cocktails here are very strong so probably one drink with your meal will be fine. The meals in the picture are crab cakes for appetizers. For the entree it is tavern Mac & cheese with turkey bacon and fish and chips. Everything was delicious I would definitely come back. The fish is fresh the crab was amazing and the Mac was nice and creamy. It was definitely worth the trip here.

Great local place.  Great drinks food and service. The Parker House rolls are addictive.  And the Portuguese chicken is worth the 30 minute wait.

Picked up take out from here for a family member that was in the nearby hospital.  I had low expectations, but the food was quite good.  We had the fried chicken sandwich and it was awesome (even in takeout form) and the mozzarella / caprese sandwich which was also very good.  The menu is heavy on the steak side and seemed reasonably priced, especially in comparison to the prices on steak boulevard in Great Neck.
