It was quaint. The room size was small but well allocated. Though mildly tired looking it seemed well kept.. until I looked at the windows. 
Dusty, dirty, cobwebs and not just a weeks worth. The bathroom had horizontal blinds that had thick dust on them too. 
I did however like the green face cloth for makeup removal (in lieu of staining a white one). 
Staff was friendly and chatted lightly with us. 
All in all not awful, but I don’t know I’d stay there again.

Finally a place that actually knows how to make wings! My partner was a huge fan of the fish and chips as well. Service was great as our server and host was smiling the whole time. The atmosphere is festive and traditional. There's a water view but it was too cold so we didn't take advantage of sitting outside. The place is clean. My only complaint, they need paper towel in the bathroom because I washed my face and couldn't find any and I really didn't want to blow dry my face in those hand dryer thingies. Otherwise, great experience!

A warm upper scale country inn.  Staff very friendly and helpful.Excellent location..walking distant to beach and theatre right around the corner.Bar menu could use some work..

I attend regularly for steak night and wing night, value is good, they have a good selection of beers on tap and I like the atmosphere.
Get a spot by the fireplace in the winter for that cozy feeling.

You can’t beat the location, it’s right on the water and most rooms have a great view. Checking in was a bit chaotic as we arrived in a big group, but the room was nice and clean, although a bit dated, and had a fantastic view. 
The dinner at night was absolutely fantastic. There is a limited but varied menu to choose from, the food came out fast and the staff was very friendly. 
There is ample parking available and it’s a very short walk to the main street.
