The Shrimp Prosciutto Fettuccine, Braised Beef Ravioli, and Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake were all terrific. But the star of the show was the Ricotta Cheesecake! It was so amazingly perfect! This place has a nice vibe and comfortable atmosphere. I'd certainly come back ... especially for the cheesecake.
I LOVED this place and can't wait to go back! The food was delicious. I'm not a pasta person but tried a pasta dish and now can't stop thinking about it. The flavors were exceptional! Our waitress was unbelievable as well, so friendly, nice, and attentive. She helped us choose a delicious win selection and it set the tone. For dessert, we tried two both delicious but the raspberry crumble was SO GOOD. I highly recomemd for business or pleasure and I can't wait to go back!
We were so excited to celebrate my birthday with a 6:15pm reservation. At 7:40, we decided to push our reservation at Paine's Nature of Light to 8:40. At 8pm, we asked the waitress who was sharing no information with us, if she could check on the kitchen. She came back 10 minutes later and told us there were still 5 tickets ahead of us and we would miss the Paine. We decided to leave. Our food would have taken almost 3 hours... We all have service industry background and respect the process. Would have loved to dine with you! The menu looked good and we were comped our appetizers. But watching the tables around us arrive after us, get their food, then get their plates remade, it was pretty frustrating. Felt like others needed to know and be prepared.
Tasty food, waiters are very receptive, and super friendly atmosphere. Plus, it’s all at an affordable price.

My wife really likes this place and is always asking to go, but I’m not a big fan. After tonight I’m even less of a fan. I ordered the Mac and Cheese and it had absolutely NO flavor. Tasted like they forgot to drain the water from the pasta and you can judge for yourself in the picture below. For what its worth their bruschetta is the best I’ve had but sadly the kitchen can’t even make a simple dish like Mac and Cheese. Making matters even worse we had to wait over an hour for the entrees and 25 minutes to just order the entrees. Even my wife was unimpressed tonight. Very disappointing!!
Truly a wonderful dining experience. The service was fantastic, the food was expertly prepared, and the bourbon selection was a very happy surprise. Most importantly, Gardina's had a lot of delicious options to accommodate celiac diners, including gluten-free bread for the appetizer. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great night out. Check out the wine and bourbon selection in the market for a bottle to take home with you!
Wonderful service on top of crave worthy pasta dishes. Our dining crew each had a different pasta and they were all great.Food: 5/5
First time here, same owners at Ruby Owl, but different ambiance and menu. I had a New York strip and my wife had the walnut encrusted salmon. Both dishes were flavorful and would definitely order them again. Bartender was friendly and made a great specialty cocktail. If you enjoy bourbon, this is a must stop. Small liquor store in the back that is well stocked with spirits. Don't forget to join the bourbon club. We'll be back soon!
Andrew is an excellent bartender, providing prompt service to the full bar. 5 stars. The large pit into the basement is a little odd. It makes seating a little weird. For a small corking fee any wine in the back retail store is available with dinner. Great options available. The food is fancier than most places in Oshkosh, good, but not amazing.
Gardinals is such a great place. Love the atmosphere there and the staff were very friendly. The food is presented like what you would find when you go to a restaurant in New York but here we are in Oshkosh WI. The presentation is one thing, but it tastes awesome as well. We enjoyed our time there and will be back soon. A hidden treasure.
