Gardner Eye Care offers a history lesson in the timeline of Optometric Care. Dr. James Gardner pioneered the evolution of Optometry as Doctors moved from jewelry stores to private practices. He was one of the first to embrace contact lenses as a great choice for vision correction when Drs. Wesley and Jessen introduced hard contact lenses to the world.

His son Dr. Jack Gardner has continued his father's tradition of exceptional care and innovation: He was among the first Optometrists to be certified to diagnose and treat certain diseases and conditions of the eye; he is well known and highly regarded as a contact lens specialist, succeeding with people who had never been able to wear contact lenses before; he continues to teach and mentor young Optometrists.

And Dr. Jack has selected outstanding young Optometrists who understand that our patients want and deserve excellent, personal care.
