I would never recommend Garrett Enterprises to anyone. JD, the owner and his workers did the worst tiling and grouting job I have ever seen. When asked to come fix the problem, JD sent his worker, John over and I showed him where there were gaps in the grouting, crumbling, where the tile was NOT even and pulling up from them laying it incorrectly, and asking them to go over all of it because it was just an all over problem. John stayed for about an hour and then disappeared. I figured he went to go get more grouting, but he didn't show up the rest of the day. I ended up calling and leaving a voicemail with both John and JD, but JD does NOT return phone calls under any circumstances and wont email me because he feels it was not my money that it was my husbands so he would only speak with him. He literally said that to my husband, i have emails/ text messages with proof of him saying that! How unprofessional is that? I had to email and text JD pictures of the grouting that was still just awful with crumbling, globs on my tile, and chunks taken out of the grouting, and of course he refuses to call or email me because its not "my money" so he emails my husband, or he texts my husband. John called a few days later saying he'd come back to fix but couldn't get there until the next week. John shows up at 8am, I provided him with a list and I go through the house and show him a numerous amount of spots he "corrected" and the spots that has still not been fixed. The grouting had since cured and I went to Lowes and spoke with their tile guy showing detailed pictures of the areas needing to be fixed as well as the "fixed" areas of grouting. He said they needed to cut out the grout with a grouting saw and redo it to avoid future problems with it, and that the grouting needs to follow certain steps and they probably were not done. I went to a few people and all said the same exact thing. When John showed up monday morning for the second time, I addressed the problems and he stepped out into the garage for 30 minutes, came back in and told me he would call to set up a new time because he needed to get more guys together. A day goes by and I call to see if we can set up and he doesn't answer. I leave a voice mail and never hear back until a few days later when my husband gets an email saying that fixing it is an "unreasonable demand" and they will not be coming back out because they've come out twice before.
