Story

Gary L. Mummert Builders is a family owned and operated business with a rich history in the Hanover area. The business was originally started by L. G. Mummert in 1955. L.G. quickly turned a small home on a small lot into, another, and then another, and then a business. He became known around the area for his quality workmanship and fair prices, something that GLM Builders still make a focal point of their business.
L.G. made his home in Hanover, PA and started his family there. He had one son Gary, who was born in 1939. Gary attended Hanover High School and upon graduating he took a full time job working for his father, and learning the business.
L.G. handed down the business to his son Gary in 1972. Gary is still the President and a daily contributor to the business. His son, Brent is the Vice President, for the company. Over time, Gary L. Mummert Builders has built hundreds of homes in the Hanover area.
