Locally owned and operated (third generation) Tack and Western Wear Shop located in Orono, Maine, since 1911. Providing Quality Horse Supplies, English & Western Tack, Riding Apparel, English & Western Boots, Accessories, Equine Health Care, and Gift Items.

I contacted Gass to see if they would clean and block my Fedora.  They perform this service primarily for western style hats and frankly, it's not a service many places still provide.  They did a fantastic job on my hat.  It had been left in the attic for some  time.  It needed a thorough cleaning and reshaping.  Despite the fact that they didn't have a block for re-shaping the Fedora, they were able to clean it and they re-shaped it by hand.  That is a process that requires a bit more skill.  I am so pleased.  Additionally, their shop has a great selection of western wear and gear, at very reasonable prices.  The best in the area.  The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.  Doing business with Gass has been a pleasure.  I would recommend them  highly!

Outstanding place to get your western wear. Being a Texas boy, it is very hard to find things way up here in Maine without having to order it. Great people and I will stay as a repeat customer that is for sure. Yall need to check these folks out for there aint no better place to get your western wear and gear from than Gass Horse Supply & Western Wear

Very friendly helpful service! Hubby's been looking for a pair of boots for a few years. Couldn't find any real comfortable at a reasonable cost. Was directed here. Lady was super helpful and he found the perfect pair at a very reasonable price! Great little store for all your horse needs also, or for a gift for a horse lover or cowboy/cowgirl! Highly recommend checking it out!!

Been looking at getting a pair of REAL cowboy boots and finally bit the bullet. Jill nailed my wants/needs/style down to the first pair I tried on, love her honesty.
