Highly recommended!! I went to Gaynor’s Automotive the other day and they were able to get me in quickly. Tommy and his crew were professional and extremely helpful. They had a nice sitting area with a variety of drinks (who doesn’t love that!?!). Most importantly, they are an automotive place that I can actually trust and people who will give their honest opinion. Thank you Gaynor Automotive team!

So, let me tell you my story.  I've taken my car to Gaynor's a few times.  They have done a fine job, but I couldn't shake the feeling they were maybe a little expensive.  But Julio at the front desk is really great, and it's super convenient to my home, so I've held off pricing anything. 

So, the other day I took it in to get a brake job.  My car needed front and back brakes.  I took it in, they had to have it overnight (they had to order the rotors or something), but I got it early the next day.  I drove it home, and went to drive to work that night about 1030 pm... As I was pulling off the freeway and hit my brakes, a loud horrible scraping and my car started shaking and rattling.  I did come to a stop, and actually thought I must have picked something up on the freeway as when I started up again, it continued for about 15 seconds then drove normally.  But as soon as I hit my brakes again, the same thing.  My stomach sunk as I realized I had a bad caliper or something.  I was all the way at work in Portland with a car clearly not safe to drive, and Everytime I've had something like this happen, and it seems clear there was some faulty part or something, it ends up costing me more money somehow.  

I spent all night stressed about the conversation I'd have to have cajoling a tow out if the shop, arguing over who should pay, etc.  

I called Julio as soon as I could and he instantly gave me a number for a tow company, and told me to charge it to him.  I got it towed from Portland back to Hazel Dell.. my car spent a few hours back at Gaynor's, when it was done, Julio handed me my keys, apologized for everything and I was off.  

So, here's the thing.. maybe they're a little more expensive (which I can't even really be sure of). But they stand behind their work.  When I had a problem, they made it right and didn't even blink or give me hassle or anything.  To have a mechanic like that, I'll take it.

I have had a major service (timing belt) that was completed on time, in a professional manner and at a reasonable cost.  The service advisors are great too!  I've also had minor issues repaired and was pleased with price and results.

I have been going to these guys exclusively for 2 years and they do all the work on my pizza delivery car.  It's hard to find a shop you can trust and these guys rock.  Julio, that works up front, is a true gentleman and has always been conscientious with my budget and needs.  I cannot praise them enough.
