Cute little restaurant with a smaller, but diverse menu. Homemade for sure and you can't leave without a fresh dessert!!! Great family working together, doesn't get any better than that.
The Good: Service was friendly & accommodating; If you're into "farm house" decor, you'll appreciate the ambiance; The onion rings were big, crunchy, & delicious. The Bad areas that need work: Don't be in a hurry, or have a schedule to keep. We sat for quite awhile before having our orders taken, and then again before receiving our food, and then again before receiving the bill. The food itself was small in proportion to the cost, and lacked presentation. The Italian beef sandwich almost had beef in it. I understand that the owners are planning on opening a specialty coffee shop. This should be interesting as the coffee at their restaurant more closely resembles tea than coffee, and had no flavor. Finally, Cleanliness: The floor in the dinning area needs to be spot-cleaned throughout the day. Unwrapped straws served by barehanded wait staff & laid directly on the tables for customers to place in their drinks and in their mouths, firstly is unprofessional & unsanitary, and secondly is just not acceptable in the midst of a pandemic.
I’ve eaten here more times than I can count. I’m sure I’ve had everything on the menu at least one time. The staff and owners are fantastic and friendly. The food? Amazing... every dish brings something new and exciting. The ingredients are fresh and it’s as close to home cooking as you can get. The atmosphere is unique to Rossville and feels more like Manhattan but with more space and bigger tables. I’m glad they’ve chosen to open in Rossville!
We love GeeManettis and dine there 3-4 times a week. The food is fresh and very tasty! Love the owners Karah and Luke. The staff is fantastic and go out of their way to see you have everything you need.
The prices are very reasonable. Meals are wonderful, especially the kabob's. My new favorite. Salads are large and not just rabbit food. All recipes are handed down from her family. Small town atmosphere. Good place to visit, stop in, you will definitely come back for more.
Trying to give this place a chance. Fresh & tasty ingredients for the most part but portions are smaller than most entre services these days. Appetizers and desserts are good if limited selection. Service is friendly but not well trained. Got marinara instead of meat spaghetti on order. Timing of multiple courses is poor. Upcoming atmosphere in the building. Very clean.
Super delicious! Its so nice to have a place to go for real food! My husband was completely impressed and satisfied by their build your burger! We will be customers time and again!
Food is fantastic, staff is Stellar and the atmosphere is Amazing! So many things to try and love! All home made and fresh! Salads are delicious. Dressing and sauces are home made also! Love it!
The food was amazing, I was full to the max, however the others around me, had much smaller portions. When ordering the food there was no pictures of how much or what the food was gonna look like. There was super high ceilings trapingnall the heat at the top. With Illinois weather anything can happen, and no proper heat for the winter is not a good place to start
Amazing local restaurant! Fresh salads, fantastic entrees, & outstanding desserts all at great prices!
