I ordered flowers for my girlfriends first day at a new job.  They weren't delivered and he never called to say they weren't going to be delivered so i could get a real company to do it.  Calls are not answered, sent to an anonymous voicemail.  This doesn't sound like a real business to me.  I would avoid them.

Shopping the wide array of in season flowers was tremendously amazing with the help of Rene! Adding the fragrant white lilies with my dozen red roses was incredibly stunning to see and smell upon receivement! Absolutely will be a retuning customer for many years to come .HIGHLY RECOMMEND

AVOID AND DON'T waste your money or time!!

I ordered flowers to be sent to my husband based off of the location (GERMANTOWN to GERMANTOWN) around 10:30 am and called after placing my online order.  I was told they would be delivered as I requested before 3pm sure no problem.

I called around 2pm to follow up and then at 3pm to find out what is going on.  Both times Randy the owners response was "let me call the driver" he then proceeded to say that since I placed the order "LATE" that was probably the reason for my delivery  not arriving on my "special instruction time" but wait I had called after my order to CONFIRM the order would be there by 3........

Owner was rude and also told me not to go based off other reviews and quickly was rushing me off of the phone. Terrible businessman/owner.

Based off of all the negative reviews I sure hope I get a refund asap or I will surely be speaking to the BBB.  

EXTREMELY disappointed.  You think that going local and having communication is key......

I cannot believe how simple and easy it was to order! The jubilation Bouquet was excellently crafted by the designers and the fragrant lilies gave the perfect aroma... Definitely a well experienced, family-owned floral shop! I will be recommending them for sure!

I gave 1 star because 0 stars was not an option. Ordered from Gene's for the first time for my mom's 80th birthday. Thought I’d support a local shop instead of a big web vendor. Gene's failed to deliver on the day promised. I called to leave a message requesting a refund, and they never called back or e-mailed. They delivered an arrangement the next day - AFTER her birthday. Never got a call or e-mail from Gene's, and no refund or even partial credit. I would never use Gene's again; shop elsewhere for your flowers!
