The TSA agents tend to treat it like their little feifdom. An agent unpacked my backpack item by item, finally realizing that larger backpacks have frames. I've been through twenty airports on four continents and have never had such an unnecessary experience with an agent. And let's face it - it's Peoria Illinois - hardly a prime target for international terrorists. A little common sense goes a long way folks. We are people living our lives. You are theater, in support of the multi-million dollar security checkpoint industry that cropped up like a weed and serves little actual purpose.

A big thank you to your TSA staff, Gen Wayne A Downing Airport - you're getting 1 star!

We arrived at the TSA line on March 7th at 430am for a 545am boarding and were met with a line clear to the baggage claim. At 540am your exceptionally LATE TSA staff finally decided to open security. Guess what happens when you try to run 6 flights of GUESTS through the world's most entitled team of "officers"? Missed flights for everyone ! And what do the old hags do when questioned about why they were an hour late? Frisk your VETERAN husband. Freedom of speech and customer service are DEAD at this airport. 

Maybe you should charge people to park and hire some more skilled TSA staff? In my opinion, you must have hired all of the people that got rejected from working at any prison or actual police force. 

Seriously, THANK YOU for reminding me why I take the extra 2 hour drive to Chicago to fly out of a real airport. 

If you enjoy being made to feel like a terrorist in PEORIA ILLINOIS - this is the airport for you.
