I’ve been to this airport about 10 times and every single time has been great. I’ve been to Florida and back 4 times and to Texas and back once. My flight has only ever been delayed once and it was only an hour delay because of a line of thunderstorms in Kentucky/Tennessee. The people on the planes are nice, the staff is good, they have good food in the airport and on the planes, the planes are very nice, and you get through security and on your plane REALLY fast. It’s also not very far from where I live. 10/10 would fly again.

Plane arrived at my destination late. Went out to my car, only to find my battery was dead with my keys locked in the car. I went to the security office where the officer clearly stated when asked for help, that he had a tool to open my door, but I couldn't use it. He was laughing as he said this! The 2 officers in their office never got out of their seats, and didn't help me at all. It was 4° outside! I can't believe how I was treated. I will not be using your services again, and will tell everyone I can about this treatment. The fact that he was laughing at me when I asked for help is completely unacceptable. How dare they do this to anyone!

Lack of TSA precheck makes this airport a pain to use & get thru security. Not sure why they don’t have it, it doesn’t seem to be that hard to implement.

I don't know why Nyana and Lorena are complaining? Capitol airport is directed from the airline to cancel flights.  The airlines is also who supplies the aircraft so if you had to wait it was the airlines not airport.  I also don't know what staff you are talking about but from administration down they are caring and very knowledgeable.  They constantly are doing training both hands on and computer training.  If you wonder how I know, its because I worked with and for the staff there. They are great caring people!

Used FlySPI many times and have to say how stress-free it is compared to OHare, Midway & the other large airports I had to use living in Chicago for 10yrs... @ SPI, You can literally park for free less than 100yds away from your gate!!! I had to park farther away when I go to Target. Haha! The terminal is always spotless and clean, very easy to relax next to a plug-in. Thankful we have A.L.C. Airport as an option in Central IL!
