You wouldn't know by the name or the general set up that this place serves the best corned beef sandwich in Cleveland--but it does! Hot, thick-slicked, falling apart tender and stacked high. Really a store, not a restaurant, but they do have a small area with tables in the back. Just as good-if not better-than the over-hyped Slyman's and better prices also. Highly recommended.

Oh dear. Liked the place in CLE better; it was closer and more intimate that way. Now it feels like it wants to be a grocery store. Prices seemed high too. Oh well guess nothing stays the same. I do like their authentic Italian food selections all in one place though.

Best cannolies around! Their French bread is awesome. My daughter get one everytime we go and has it 1/2 eaten before we get home (no need for butter).

We are from CT (on the NY border) where there is a good deli on every corner. Since our move to Ohio, we have tried many delis in an attempt to find something comparable to the Italian delis of the Northeast and, until today, we've had no luck. Today we visited Gentile's and we loved it! We ordered a chicken parm sub and a Bazzard sub. Both were amazing! We also bought a few homemade desserts which were great too! We highly recommend Gentile's and we will probably be returning there weekly.

Wonderful Italian bakery that's been around for quite some time. Delicious food. Great lunch stop!
