I'm still relatively new to the Portland area and had avoided the hassle of finding a new dentist. I finally visited Gentle Dental after the office was recommended by my neighbor, and I was surprised to find they were in my insurance network. The front desk staff was kind and patient both on the phone, and in person; the hygienist was wonderful, personable and gentle; and the doctor was great. To top it off, the office soundtrack that morning had my foot tapping in the chair. Dentist appointments aren't supposed to be this pleasant!

Absolutely a 5 star place!  They were so kind to me as a walk-in.  They saw the pain I was in. Gave me a quick exam and took care of me. Slept great last night and I can't wait to go back next Tuesday! Highly recommend this place!

I had an excellent first visit at Gentle Dental in South Portland. It had been awhile since my last cleaning and they were very thorough. Found a small cavity they were able to fill on the spot. Efficient and friendly. Thanks guys!

It isn’t easy changing dentists especially for 5 year olds. My son felt welcomed and really enjoyed his visit. It sure made my day as a parent.  Rest assure that your child is in good hands at Gentle Dental.

I have had my teeth cleaned and four fillings completed. The dentist is very efficient and focused on keeping you comfortable. They cleanings are a breeze with their special water pick technology. I've taken my son there since he was 2. He is 4 now and lives going to the dentist! They truly represent their name!
