Story

George Regional Health System is a community-owned, not-for-profit healthcare system providing care to southeast Mississippi since 1950. The regional health system includes two hospitals, two 60-bed nursing homes, five medical clinics, and regional network of primary and specialty care facilities.

I just had a baby so this is for the "Labor and Delivery". I have been blessed to have the same nurses every time I delivered here. They were great on every level. They rooms are very decent & as comfortable as you can expect a hospital room to be. I am very satisfied with the care given to me and my baby. My biggest downside is the food. And not all of it is bad, but the eggs and oatmeal I don't recommend. But the "Labor and Delivery" staff is great. The nurses really make this a great place to deliver.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Marble the week of Thanksgiving. Very rude and unprofessional. He made remarks about my child's weight, and stated that I was looking at a 400 lb daughter. She was so humiliated and embarrassed, and I was so angry and so shocked about the statements that he made. This hasn't happened once but TWICE. He acts as if he can't stand you the moment he walks through the door. I don't understand how a doctor can be so uncaring for his patients. My daughter and I both wanted to cry. 0 star rating for me.

My Mother has spent the las week in ICU, she was combative and incoherent so they kept my Mother so sedated she hasn’t awoke in 72 hours. Today they announced her infections were gone and she had to be discharged. Mind you, she still has not awoke. They at first demanded my brother, in his truck take her home, when he explained she wasn’t awake and couldn’t get her in the truck and then out upon arrival, they arranged for an ambulance to take her away. They did not want to move her to a regular room but insisted she leave the hospital from the icu. Just let something happen to her, I’ll be finding a lawyer!  Please, unless you need stitches, DO NOT take your loved ones to this facility. I will be going to the state authorities about this.

Took my four year old there because he hasn't he hasn't been going to the bathroom regularly . We won't be going back there again !

I am currently staying here while my fiancé is hospitalized. Beings I  am sleeping in a waiting area, you'd think it uncomfortable.  Surprisingly, the caretaker had provided me with a pillow and blanket when he noticed. At 5:00 I awoke to a delicious cup of coffee from a very sweet nurse. I thank them so much for they're hospitality. It means alot.
