The shoe repair was fine, but I won't go back because the service was a bit problematic for me. You'd think that I'd receive better service after spending $70 in one shot. But, as I intended to drop off a fourth pair of shoes, the owner waived me off, insisting that "I am very busy!" I told him I didn't need the shoes right away and when I showed him what was needed, he replied, "No good! All gone." He meant that my heel couldn't be fixed. But, I've had this shoe fixed several times and I indicated as much to him. Then he admitted that he personally didn't have the time or machinery to fix the heel. The disingenuous nature of his response frustrated me greatly, since I was very willing to become a loyal customer. I will seek out friendlier, cheaper services. Do better!

I love this guy.  i had an emergency.  Heel (tap) broke an hour before I had to give a presentation, and I live more than an hour away.  Googled Shoe Repair, read the views and gave George a call.  He was honest and said, "I need to see it first."  When I got there he put my fears to rest and helped me in a few minutes.  My shoes are actually better than when I bought them.

Brought shoes in for repair, clean and shine. The repair was fine but they came back scuffed and dirty. When I asked why he my shoes still looked dirty and scuffed he argued with me and told that he knows what he's doing.  A shoe shine at Union station does a much better job for much less.

I've used them before and they're pretty good- but don't expect them to open at the time it says on here (and on their door) I waited till 8:30AM and nobody showed up so I walked home frustrated.
