I got here at 8:55 on 9/7/17. The door was locked although they close at 9:00. People inside looked at me like I was crazy for standing at the door. Eventually a staff member came to the door and asked what I was doing there. I said that i had to  buy a school uniform. They told me that nobody had come in for 20 minutes so they closed early. I said they close at 9:00, as was clearly printed on the door. They walked away. I will not come back.

I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Ana. I was about to pay making the line and she was talking with a friend close to the cashier register she saw me but she kept talking with her friend apparently her friend not a customer then she kept ignoring me for about 5 minutes more in total 10 minutes then she came to the cashier register and asked me "are you ready" like making fun of me then when i was paying she didnt even talk to me not even thank You!! What a rude attitude for a good client that has been bought your products for about 10 years. Very disappointed!

Terrible...customer service is terrible, store is dirty, and they are charging way to much for clothes. ***Stay away from this place***

Zero stars! Just back from a very frustrating attempt to return pants that I ordered online and were mailed to me mislabeled and the wrong size!! I ordered a Size 7 slim and although each package contained a pair of pants marked "7 slim" three of the four pants were size 7. When I tried to exchange them at your Columbia Heights store (because the online returns website says they cannot do online exchanges), the idiot young woman at the store told me they cannot accept slim sizes because the store does not carry them. Two problems there: the pants aren't size slim! and The Children's Place website says that husky, regular, and slim sizes can all be returned at stores.

Shame on me for shopping at a store that obtains cheap prices buy using slave labor over seas and pays idiots to work in its stores for minimum wage!
