Read excellent reviews, so my family and I were expecting a great meal. We were extremely disappointed. The atmosphere and server were fine, but the food was just totally off- one of the entrees was simply forgotten, they did not begin cooking it until the rest of the food was brought out and we saw it was missing. The salmon was so salty that it was truly inedible. After sending it back, the new piece of salmon brought out was raw in the middle. Wedge salad was bland. It was just a disappointing meal. We heard servers apologizing at other tables as well, so it seemed like a bad night across the board. We would not recommended eating here, it is not worth the trouble and there are plenty of other establishments on St. Simons to visit instead.

Georgia Sea Food Grill-Excellent, 4.5.

Huge menu w/many choices.  Piano player with dinner. Romantic low candlelit lighting. Bar seating available.  We really wanted good, fresh seafood and we got it.  
  Pam was our server and she did a fabulous job. She gave the catch of the day and specials descriptions very well. She served at OUR pace and was very attentive to to the table. Pam stopped by our table at least 15-times. Great special cocktails, good wine list, excellent desserts and quick kitchen to table times w/efficient back servers. The food came out hot and fresh. Ask for your food how you want it and they will prepare it that way.  
    We had clams, fish dip, fresh bread, lobster chowder, a variety of fish, served a variety of ways, salads, vegetables, desserts and fresh brewed coffee served Hot.  Pam was friendly, knowledgeable, menu savvy, efficient and very professional.  She made menu item  recommendations as well.
 When you visit St. Simon's Island, make a reservation for the Georgia Sea Grill.

Awesome Meals & Atmosphere!

We enjoyed a wonderful time on Saturday evening for our daughter's birthday.   The seafood was awesome, wait staff phenomenal, and ambience wonderful. 

I personally enjoyed the Swordfish, which was delightfully prepared.

Wow. Service-excellent. Food-excellent. Drinks-excellent. St. Simmons is one of those beach towns where you get all too comfortable visiting the same old same old. This restaurant is tucked away on the left side of the main downtown. The ambiance is perfect and with the additional piano music it just works. The oysters had a Bloody Mary gel on top that harmonized with the sweet and salty PIE oysters. The salad of beets that I did not take a pic of was a nice balance of bitter and sweet. The triple tail pan seared fish with veggies really was perfect. The brussel sprouts were a little undercooked but the blue cheese and bacon made up for it. The bourbon butter at dinner was addicting. The desert with local honey on top was just the right bite. Becca our waitress made the night.
